I'm watching this channel for the first time and noticed the Jones Pass information board in the background. I'm from Texas but I camp at Jones Pass every summer with my family who lives in CO. It's kind of a tradition we started years back....Camp at Jones Pass for 2 nights, then go somewhere we've never been before in CO or WY. Small world.

Thanks for the videos. With Spring/Summer coming up I am after a Long Sleeve running top for Hot weather. Can you do a video if you find any good ones. That way I won’t have to use sunscreen on the arms. Thanks.

How comfy is this? I can’t stand that “scratchy” feeling you get from wool, what would you say the comfiest/silkiest wool base layer you’ve come across would be? I’ve tried icebreaker and didn’t like them for that reason.. I’m thinking I might need to give up on 100% merino and go for a blend instead 😒

A blend would be more smooth in most applications. The Patagonia wool / ply is nice. The Kuhl wool / eucalyptus is nice.

Hi tank you for the review, I really like your channel (I already subbed)! I want to ask you how does yak wool compare to alpaca wool. I read on your website reviews about both alpaca and yak base layer. I want to give a try to natural fibers, but I can't decide which of the two should I try. Can you give me some advice? Tank you!

Thank you for the question abs sub!! 🙌🙌. Wil Rickards has the alpaca experience and he loves it. We both have Yak and we really like it too. I don’t think you will go wrong with either. I appreciate your desire to use natural material too. Have you tried merino wool yet? If not, that would be a very good option too.
