Korda boom and krimps useful information

I've never heard of the never use a fig 8 knot on fluro it's the only knot I've ever used on it and I've never had any problems. Can you tell me the reason why you shouldn't use the fig 8 knot?

I stopped doing it for a couple of reasons knots burn fluorocarbon when pinching up even when moistened so technically there weaker but the main reason was the loop was slightly of kicked

Cheers buddy on the dna bait am on I've had no issues but 90% of the time I prefer fishmeal based and the odd change to milk proteins and nut based, to be fair most will work from higher end brands it's just finding out what they want more of

Honest review again Jason you could have found a cheaper krimpa but no you said cant beat korda fair play Jason

There's loads out there in crimping tools but to be fair the best I've found is the korda one using the 0.6mm or 0.7mm double barrel crimps, yes the wychwood wood one does the job but because its short handles you can't fully get the right compression crimping and it slips sometimes, at least the korda one does the job right all the way round the crimps and if you've done it right the crimps Jamed in meaning it needs a little effort getting it out

Many tackle shops sell them in the korda range but I've been using the CE version here's the link bud www.carpersessentials.co.uk/product-page/crimps, both brands have been well tested and if anything I find CE slightly better with very few jamming on line entry

Yes mate they only do 0.6mm that's what I use on 25lb boom and if am using there chod hooklink as a boom 35lb works still with the 0.6mm where korda you have to use 0.7mm,its rare I go 35lb unless I know there's big cats in there

@@camocarpycuttzy hi mate with the crimping tool I see there two different one different on then crimp tool so I I woz to use the 15lb line and the extra small can I use the bigger to crimp then and I only brought the one but it not got the extra small on then but got the small size the would still crimp the extra small need help plz
