Absolutely loved this. However... I do wish Korda would do more 'real world' content. Every video feels like its the same thing. Pre-booked/Syndicate/Private waters, hundreds of pounds worth of bait in the water, sometimes pre-baited swims and all the best kit. Most people cannot afford any of that so each video feels like a tour of a super car; it interesting but its miles removed from anyting I will ever experience. I'd love to see the lads turn up at a much larger body of water and have a reasonable (£100 or so?) bait budget and see how they get on and deal with the challenges we all face. Keep it up Korda! love from South Africa. I buy loads of your kit and it is absolutely top notch.

I agree. Just watched this I love them but it's fake fishing. Boating out to find fish, putting floats out to mark location, tons of bait. I'd like to see them rock up to fish a overcrowded commercial aswell.

It's just an advert pal to get you to buy their gear it's a business - the fishing is like you said but their terminal tackle is good quality 👌

How long does Darrel make his flouro leader for braid fishing? Are you using it as if it’s a lead core leader or doing a few winds onto the reel to add some extra spring? Second to that and if it’s being wound onto the reel, Is iq2 gna be decent for casting at range?
@darrellpeck4938
@darrellpeck4938 4 ай бұрын
I’m using just 4 feet, enough to protect the fishes flanks and keep the area around the rig low vis. You could use it longer but probably not the best choice for long range casting. I’d prefer a tapered mono leader, so the knot went through the rings better.
@matthewlewis1666
@matthewlewis1666 4 ай бұрын
@@darrellpeck4938 I’m buzzing you’ve replied, wasn’t expecting that haha! Nice one. While I’ve got you, for tapered mono, are you just throwing a few reel turns on?

It’d be interesting to know what the carp weigh when they’re landed and what they weight after a night in the sling. I read a chapter in a book years ago (may have been Peter Stone, can’t quite remember). He did an entire chapter on the subject, comparing as-landed weights against weights after a night in a keepnet (bream, chub, tench). The weight drop was remarkable and consistently witnessed, with IIRC chub being the biggest ‘losers’. The overriding conclusion was to weigh your fish immediately on capture if you want the best weights. Would be really interesting to know if carp suffer similar levels of weight loss from time spent in a sling.

Hello, thank you for the kind video and congratulation to the great carps! Thank's for the German subtitles! I really enjoyed watching the video. 🤗😊 But why are poluting the water with so much highly toxic heavy metal? ☹😡Lead ist harmful! You can alternatively use steal weights or stones, if you are not throwing your rods! Best regards and always tight lines! 🙂👍
