Carp Fishing Lake Bled With Darrell Peck | Korda Thinking Tackle

Last Autumn saw Darrell head off on a trip he had dreamt of quite some time, the chance to fish the mighty Lake Bled in Slovenia!

With 9 days of fishing at his disposal, it would take some serious effort on and off the bank to battle through the ‘days only’ nature of the fishing.

Even if you never cast a line into Lake Bled, there is still plenty that you can learn from this episode of Thinking Tackle, and the thought processes that Darrell goes through can be applied to any water, especially if you are struggling and know that you haven’t got it right, as it poses the sort of questions you should be asking yourself on any water. It shows the difference these changes make when he does get it right, and results in the capture of plenty of carp, including one very special fish!

Great video , epic venue .. like the way you showed the highs and lows , great point with the soft mouths, happend to me at a venue same thing, I then tied up some withy pool style rigs with snowman , helped hook the fish a lot better , didn't lose one after that !!

Wicked filming! Awsome place I see no goo or smart liquid why is this? As Korda push both so much is this that there a total waste of time and not needed. Would love an answer on why they were not used. Just goes to show one of the best carp fishermen even gets problems and struggles even with a full team and shows u u need time what we all don't have.I would melt on an environment like that. Great angling. However, was there really 24' of swing-back in 50' of water at that distance (60m)? Could it have been that your bait was away from the spodded bait and picked up by the more wary carp?
