Hello, so beautiful is your garden with the kordes Perfumery breeds. I just planted 1.5 week ago, 3 of kordes Dark Desire, in 3 different locations of the garden. 3 kordes Dwarf fairy red. Iam in Brisbane Queensland Australia. Each as Bare roots. Our winter began ist july. They are just foliage budding and the first opening of foliage into leaves. Iam thrilled. Thankyou.

Thank you and so nice of you to watch it! Kordes roses are fantastic especially this Parfuma collection. This year Dark Desire performed so good, very healthy, first flush came a bit later in June which was very hot weather. Now, it has lots of buds again. I brought few of cut roses inside the house, after few days, they filled the room with sweet scent of ripe pear 🍐. A lot of success to your Gräfin Diana (Dark Desire).🌹

@rosegardengems nice to hear it loves the heat and smells like pears. I'm in semi tropical climate, it's nice for roses. Not dry and hot as other parts of Australia. Actually I bought another This week to come mid August. Il have 4. I bought 3 other from kordes Perfuma too to come, can't recall names. Madam Anisette, fruity perfuma.....

I have this i live in zone 9.I have many david austin roses. And have kordes and Tantau too.I would say the German roses are tough roses they withstand the hot weather. Develope in to strong plants and are disease free.My favourite.

Thank you for you comment Mr. Khan! Good to know that you have German roses too! The number of German roses with ADR certificate is increasing especially roses from Kordes. Most of my roses have ADR logo.🌹

I have this rose here in Texas. It's called Dark Desire. It survives the heat, but the blooms are smaller and brighter red during the summer. This rose was doing much better when I lived in the Pacific Northwest.

The flowers are smaller during the heatwave but I am lucky this year’s first flush was incredible, it rained a lot in late spring so I was able to see it’s big size and beautiful colours. Have you ever brought some flowers in your house? You can smell the strong scent of ripened pear. A lovely day to you!🌹

Excellent Gemma, that first rose the name you need to investigate, in the uk this is spicy Parfuma and for me is performing extremely well. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it. For me the first year it’s doing very well indeed. Grafin Diana for me I’m still waiting to see. But I’ve no reason to believe it won’t do very well. :) yours looks beautiful Gemma. A magnificent Rose :)

Thanks Jay Jay! I was worried I was wrong, Spicy Parfuma is another name for Großherzogin Luise. It is an apricot pink colour Hybrid Tea rose. I got it too ! I bought it last May. Again, Thanks for your support! 🌹

Hello Gemma, you are an very good INFLUENCER ! After getting me in trouble (not really) for buying Herzogin Christiana, now I´m very interested in Gräfin Diana. She is a beautiful rose and I love the colour of the buds as well as the colour of the open rose. The only thing is, my wishlist is growing and growing, but my garden already aches under all the roses, shrubs and perennials ( so does my back after all the maintenance work). Ist die weiße Pflanze links neben der Gräfin etwa ein Schleierkraut? Dann verrate mir bitte, wie du es schaffst, daß es in deinem Garten blüht. Meines mickert vor sich hin. Gleich gehe ich in den Garten, gießen und "deadheaden" (denglisch). Liebe Wochenendgrüße und weiterhin viel Spaß mit deinen Rosen, Hanni.

Dear flower friend Hanni! Thanks for visiting me again! 😍Gräfin Diana rose ist super, es ist wirklich wert für ein Platz in dein Garten. Ich muss auch heute Garten gießen, gestern Abend hat nur kurz geregnet, alles sind trocken. Die Schleierkraut ist sehr gut gewachsen aber es nimmt die Platz von Jubilee Celebration rose. Ich wünsche dir ein gemütliches Wochenende im Garten.🌹🌹🌹
