I have worn a Nexbelt for the last 2-3 years. It eventually started to fray, and twist. The ratcheting mechanism gets bound up. I picked up a Kore yesterday and can already tell it is an upgrade. The operation of the ratcheting mechanism is night and day better on the Kore, and the rigidity, plus extra stitching is a recipe for success. Very happy with my purchase!

Bought two Kore ratchet belts on a whim and man I don’t know what took me so long. These hold up full size load outs with pistols and extended mags with no sag. The inside is a rubberized texture which holds up well and has some nice grip. The ratchet mechanism is great for changing belt tightness while working to ensure there is not printing, adjusting to movement, sitting, etc. Everything seems robust so far and far exceeds the performance of my other gun belts. For IWB carry I would say its essential. Glad I made the change. Other belts are good, but Kore ups the ante.

I prefer the Nexbelt. The release leaver is a bit harder to find and actuate in comparison to the Kore, especially if your used to the Kore, but after getting used to the Nexbelt I actually prefer it that way. I think the streamlined buckle and tapered belt end design makes it way easier to put on and work even better with appendix rigs. Another plus for the lower profile release lever with appendix carry too. No need to slide the buckle to one side or the other, but if you did, the streamlined design helps slide it through the belt loops. I love both belts and will never go back to a traditional belt, even if I wasn’t carrying, but I personally think Nexbelt is better and offers more designs. Only reason I’d buy another Kore is if I wanted one of their designs that Nexbelt didn’t offer. Great video 👍🏻

I purchased both nexbelt and kore belt in Jan. I have been swapping them out as my daily carry to get a feel for each. The best way I can compare them is to say that nexbelt does NOT come with a belt keeper to prevent the tip from sticking out because it doesn't need it. The kore belt needs a belt keeper because it is stiffer and from what I can tell a little better constructed. Also on occasion the buckel on my nexbelt sticks or is hard to move the belt thru it. Kore glides thru very easy and locks solid. It feels more satisfying. Having said that, the nexbelt is not bad but I would say not as good as the kore belt from my observations. Maybe bevcause kore has been making them longer.

I own three Kore leather gun belts and now one Nexbelt Titan. The Kore belt buckles have rough edges on mine, and catch on clothes. The leather is also very cracked and worn on my older leather belt. I don't expect such wear with the nylon belts. I agree about the Nexbelt being more difficult to activate the latch. I gotten used to it, it's my casual carry belt now. It feels sturdier than my Kore gun belt.
@chronovore37263 жыл бұрын
I have an older version of the Kore. The metal buckle is boxy with sharp corners. As I've gotten older and developed what John at Active Self Protection calls a "tactical muffin top", it has become quite uncomfortable. I recently switched to the newer, powder-coated buckle seen in this video. The edges are rounded and it has a lower profile. It is much more comfortable. BTW, the leather on mine is still good. It has nicks and dings (etc.) but is still decent. There are lots of things that can wear on leather. Humidity and other conditions can matter in the long term. Leather can also benefit from maintenance.

I was done with these kinds of belts til my friend and fa instructor gave me a kore for my 40th birthday and man what a difference. Best gift ever. The belt finally snapped/creased just recently. Even then, still functions like the same day 1 belt when worn and carrying. I considered trying Nexbelt but with 5 years of using the Kore I have and other people already running into flaws earlier with the Nexbelt, I just ordered 2 more from Kore as a bundle deal with the labor day sale on top. I do hope Nexbelt will either lower their price and or change their engineering/quality. Awesome review Hegshot!

Guys these Kore belts are absolutely outstanding and live up to all the amazing reviews and more. It is hard for me to explain how happy I am with this belt. I bought the black tactical belt with the X1 buckle. I choose black and the X1 because it is the most inconspicuous of the colors of the tactical belts. When you have it on with a tucked in shirt and an open coat on, it looks like a designer belt where as the grey and tan kind of scream "I am carrying a gun" so if you are buying it for concealed carry I recommend the black and X1 buckle but I love it so much that I am sure I will be buying multiple more belts from them. I needed a good CCW belt to carry my full-size HK USP and mag pouches with my alien gear IWB holster. Let me tell you, the holster and gun do not move from their position and the belt makes the whole setup extremely comfortable even with a full-size firearm. When I tried it with my ruger lcp it makes it so you do not even notice the gun there at all. I will be using this belt not only for my EDC, regardless of the handgun I am carrying and for anytime I need a belt. I might grab some of their dress belts now that I see the exceptional quality and attention to detail that this belt is made with. One of my favorite things about it is the tracks. The belt will fit EXACTLY how you need it to and if you need to sit down and want to loosen it a bit you can do it without anyone even noticing and it will just look like you are adjusting your pants. This belt is flawless.

Now IMHO the Kore having a spring mechanism can wear out over time , whereas the Nexbelt which utilizes a magnet is very unlikely to wear out but if it did, it woyld take a much longer time. IMO the bottom line is ..... just as one must train and get used to their (pew pew) it only take a small fraction of time to used and become comfortable the it's latch.

Are the band sections Interchangeable with both belt buckles? I’ve had a Korbel for about a year and a half now and I am pretty hard on it carrying pretty heavy and rough things that are constantly rubbing on it and there is wear on the band section of it but I doubt any belt out there would look any better than mine does right now with that kind of abuse.

Heg we had to discontinue Nexbelt sales last summer. To be frank we had too many returns and breakages mostly with buckles. On a recommendation we started carrying Kore belts in teh shop last Nov. No issues so far and customers come back to buy more. It's proven to be a better belt all around for us. ANd I have to say that Nexbelt camo is awful. Multicam is far better.

@@davidmontez617 its so obvious cause when you click the profile, the date it was created will coincide to when the comment was posted lmao. Ive also seen the exact comment above on several videos from different accounts😂. I actually think they have a decent product, but the fake accounts and all that bs is really obnoxious

David we don't hire or use bots. I don't see any content on your acct thats just a few days old. So looks like you work for nextbelt.

@@Koreessentialsbrand Why don't you manufacture your belts 100% in USA? I thought that was the case. I was disappointed to see "Made in China" stamped on the inner side of my X5 belt. I still like the belt, much like all the crap I buy at Harbor Freight...lol.

I bought one of their made in USA belts back in Dec and its even nicer than there other belts (own 3 so far). It was $20 extra but I would assume anything made in the USA would be more expensive. The webbing seems to be a tighter pattern. All in all these guys def make the best belts for daily cc.
