Ah so cool you went to the tiny food market I was gonna recommend! I literally thought I'll watch the video first but you went there anyway. I love the set that you can order it's really cheap there too! The difference between your noodles is one is knife cut and one is hand torn and called "Sujebi" - glad you went. It's my favorite place! Also, you tried silkworm which is so brave I lived here since 2018 and have never been brave enough to try! Also if you haven't already had the recordation please go to Gwangjang Market and try the food there. My personal favorite is 우뭇가사리 which is a noodle made out of Agar (vegetable jelly I think)

I loved this! We were stationed in Korea ten years ago and it was one of the best assignments. My memory has gotten a little foggy so it was wonderful to see Namdaemun again. We had a little Mexican restaurant where we lived that was pretty good, too, but our favorites were the Thai restaurants. Once I took my son to Pizza Hut in Seoul and I ordered the weirdest but most yummy pizza. It had bulgogi, onions, and peppers in the middle with a thin border of some type of mashed yam mixture, all on a pizza crust. It was delicious! Loved Korea; loved the Koreans!

I 💗 Korean veggie banchan and all their metal bowls and chopsticks! 🌱 For the environment, we should either eat more plant-based or much lower on the food chain like certain insects and bugs! It's really just psychological and habit that make us think beef ok, bug not. From my perspective, raising and killing larger animals that can cry and beg you with their eyes for mercy are way worse than eating some bugs.
@slee26952 жыл бұрын
lmao eat the bugs, live in pods, you will own nothing and be happy

Agricultural farming has caused far greater ecological damage than raising animals. My kids will eat lots of healthy meat and will grow tall and have well developed brains unlike vegan children.
@pohanahawaii2 жыл бұрын
@@slee2695 : 🕵 It's been scientifically proven that: 1) Animal agriculture is more harmful to the environment. WHO recommended a plant-based diet to curb greenhouse emissions and global warming. 2) Unless you're eating pasture raised, organic animals, eggs, cheese, etc., you and your children are eating abused animals unnaturally confined to dirty, tiny spaces, fed with growth hormones, antibiotics, and GMO monocrops like corn and soy. 3) People living in The Blue Zones, which are mostly plant-based, are healthier and living longer than the average population. 4) Elephants and gorillas are herbivores, they grew pretty big and strong just fine. 5) Physiologically, neither the human teeth nor intestines are biologically designed for much meat consumption. 6) After a certain amount of saturation, more money will not make you happier. Except for maybe people dying of starvation in Africa, NO one near death ever feel regrets for not eating more. Doing more, yes. Eating more flesh, no!
@slee26952 жыл бұрын
@@pohanahawaii lmao..1) Cow farts cause more environmental damage than millions of hectares being farmed?..lol..there were millions of bison before people stepped foot in north america. More bison than cows we have now 3. Blue zones? You mean like Okinawa known as "pork island" or Sardinia which has lots of seafood? Or Hong Kong which comsumes the most beef in the world? 4. Gorillas have additional organs to digest fiber which humans dont have 5. Human teeth are designed to eat omnivorous diet 6.
@pohanahawaii2 жыл бұрын
@@slee2695 : 🕵 You're pretty ignorant, obnoxious, and no doubt a Korean Karen. But that's on you for not Google stuffs about the environment and animal agriculture, or plant-based and human health. And stop drawing numbers from your head instead of scientific journals and data. Unless you've been living under an intentional rock, most intelligent people like doctors and scientists do recommend us to eat unprocessed foods, mostly organic and plant-based.
