FlightTravels i know the reaseon in jeju with out aerobreadge..... in jeju airport was fitable to boeing 707 and 727 and 737. So, for jeju airport only a 320 , a300 , a330 . B737 ect..... epxept lager one like B777 and 747

i didn't know KE use big planes between gimpo and jeju. we boarded smaller planes when we flew from gimpo to jeju, and back. I don't know much about aircrafts, but we boarded a plane with 3 seats on both sides. it was a nice short flight. generally nice cabin crew.

Oh, HL7490(B747-400, the aircraft which flown in this video)was scrapped in 2017, and some of them are made Avationtag. This is one of the avation video before HL7490 scrapped in California, U.S.

Gavin my friend, nice video! What a cool way to travel on such a short flight. I guess that must be one of the shortest 747 flights around, no? And apron boarding the best was a bonus as well. I'm not a big fan of the KE blue livery but inside I admit it looks a lot better. And what I do like are those funny scarfs the FA's wear, so elegant. Thanks for your efforts once again, I enjoyed :-)

GODgaming well..... for jeju and kimpo there were too many passengers. So, the solution was use huge jet like 747. And nowerdays KAL use 777 and a330-300for jeju flight only for high demands flights as specialy in summer vacation and winter and some special days. Normally they use 737 and {a321 and a320(only for Asiana)}

As airliners gradually phasing out their queen of the skies, it is going to get more difficult to fly 747! I still think 747 looks the most elegant among modern jets but it's just sad that they are going away... I wonder how they dispatch 747s based in GMP, maybe bundle it with HND route? It's good to see that they still use 747 on domestic routes. Here in Taiwan, we even barely have domestic flights after the inauguration of high speed rail.. sad...

The design of the Jeju Airport exterior has changed, when i with my family travel to Korea, we went on a tour of Korea, I stayed at the Jeju Palace Hotel, when we arrived there, the exterior of the airport changed to white and more majestic than the old exterior design (Orange) we took a Jin Air (subsidiary of Korean Air) Boeing 737-800 aircraft, we took the same plane from Gimpo Airport, this is the same that u we're traveling too... sorry for long story

The slots at Jeju can't handle all the 737s if they only use the 737s. And the route has extremely high demand, they operated the 747 on the route until 2018 with seeing profit even with the 747. Now they use the 777s to succeed the 747 on that route.
