I fly KE all the time, in this business configuration the footrests are built into the bottom of the seat, just extend the leg rest and they fold out. Their 747’s are configured with the newer more private business class configs though.

One thing I appreciated about Korean Air in this video is the airline color which is Sky Blue. It's cool and calming to the eyes which overall gives a very relaxing vibe❤️.

Korean Air is a superb airline, but I'd be much more comfortable if they retrofitted their cabins to be less dated. Still love the airline either way.

Love KA but the entire fleet needs an upgrade. The Apex is a good start, but they need to move away from the 2-2-2 configuration. They also need to stop the trolly service and update some of their food service options.

Regarding the midnight flight KE086 it's either B747-8B5 or B777-3B5/ER. Towards MNL🇵🇭 if you're on KE086 connecting to KE621 in ICN🇰🇷. the gate where the JL B777-346/ER was parked next to your A380-861 KE082. that is occupied by its competitor on ICN-CEB/MNL PR A350-900 RP-C3501-RP-C3508 fleet since tour gate is used by KE086 night time. Service wise KE Prestige Class > PR Mabuhay Class service and seats. KE is a 5 star rated airline by Skytrax like competitor Asiana Oneworld Alliance CX🇰🇷 JL🇯🇵 and QR. Regarding prestige class sleeper seats you pull out the divider for privacy just like their B777-2B5/ER fleet which has the prestige class plus seats. Knew it because I did Korean Air JFK-ICN-MNL back in December 2006

The Apex suites are better from what I can tell. Flew on it on my way back from Seoul to LAX in April 2022. It was awesome. Attempted to fly it again with miles on the upper deck of 747-8 but failed after being on a waitlist so I had to fly economy class on my way back yesterday.

I didn’t know that the Korean Air A380 has the same old slanting seats in Business class as Air France in their A380 which led to a sudden end of the A380 with Air France in 2019, because nobody wanted to book the old seats on the A380 anymore 😂😂😂😂

I will be flying with Korean Air to Seoul in October and now i assume there isn’t much change. Last time I was in the prestige class was 2018. Actually not bad at all compared to those tiny pathetic economy seats. Even premium economy is not much better these days as I flew with Air France PE last month. I booked this ticket using my mileage awards for my Oct trip, I only paid surcharges and tax. That’s OK.

I wouldn't fly business class on Korean Air. Most, if not all other airlines have better business class seat. Asiana is also Korean Airlines, but they have better price and seats.

I like to think that Korean Air has the best economy class and worst business class of any East Asian airline. For economy, they still maintain a humane 9 abreast 777 and 10 abreast A380/747 with 34" pitch. And one of the last remaining airline to hand out amenity kits. Of course, you can always count on the Bibimbap meal. For business, it's pathetic that they serve the same bibimbap meal as economy, except plated nicer. While their newest planes have nice Apex suites, the A380s, select 777s, and A330s still have an outdated 2-2-2 config without all aisle access and poor privacy.
