Quick question, how do you rinse your neck without getting water everywhere or down your shirt?
@sony97055 жыл бұрын
Honestly i wear a tank top and when I cleanse I usually rub from my face all the way down to my neck, and when I rinse, I rinse from the bottom of my neck up to my face like pushing the water up and towards the sink (not down, so the water won’t trickle down your chest as much). Hope that made sense!!

Perhaps you'll want to consider a pure L-Ascorbic Acid serum that uses Ferulic Acid and Vitamin E as stabilizers instead. The aforementioned antioxidants have been scientifically proven to not only aid in the effectiveness of Vitamin C but they also act to strengthen and stabilize it. If you use a serum that contains L-Ascorbic Acid, then you'll want to find one that consists of a percentage of at least 15%. SkinCeuticals is the pioneer of Vitamin C serums, but their serum will cost you $165 USD. A brand called Cosmetic Skincare Solutions actually replicated SkinCeuticals' product at the fraction of the cost at about $40. I would recommend looking into Drunk Elephant's C-Firma Serum which also uses 15% L-Ascorbic Acid, 1% Vitamin E and Ferulic Acid. Drunk Elephant incorporated a lot of other ingredients that act to soothe and protect the skin. D.E.'s serum will cost you $80. I honestly think that D.E.'s serum will be a fantastic addition to a K-Beautify skincare routine because it eliminates a lot of the irritants found in other serums. Clean, irritant free and effective products are all main principles in K-Beauty skincare, so I feel it's a perfect match. I hope that helps.

Is an oil based cleanser or cleansing balm necessary if you don’t/hardly wear makeup?
@sunnyunnie32257 жыл бұрын
Nishara W Cleansing oil will take off everything that sits on top of your skin, also sunscreen, dust and sebum for example
@bbappzz987 жыл бұрын
no u dont need an oil based cleanser. the two step cleansing is a marketing tactic. surfactants are created to take away both oil and water so any cleanser with gentle surfactants will do.
@sunnyunnie32257 жыл бұрын
bbappzz98 I wouldn't say it's only a marketing thing. I started double cleansing three months ago. I used to have a nose full of blackheads, they're almost all gone now without doing anything else specifically. So it DOES make a difference, on my skin at least.
@bbappzz987 жыл бұрын
mmn, have you tried using only an oil cleanser without a water based cleanser when you need to double cleanse? and maybe the reason your skin feels better is because your former cleanser was more harsh and left a tight feeling? (so your skin overcompensated with oil). i call it a marketing tactic because even if you wanted an oil to cleanse, you could use a normal oil and go in with a water based cleanser afterwards or just used a oil/balm cleanser without using a water based cleanser. it's personal choice to double cleanse, double cleansing is not necessary to remove sunscreen or makeup unless you wear heavy, full-face makeup because a normal cleanser would remove sunscreen and light makeup. in the case of the original question, a normal cleanser will remove sunscreen, dust and sebum so one cleanser is fine.

There is a very simple and easy way to figure out your skin type. Wash your face with water and let yoir skin relax for an hour or two. If you are not shiny and have dry patches you are dry. If you have some moderate oil on your t zone but no where else you are combination. If you are shiny everywhere with a lot if sebum then you are oily. Hope this helps.

most stuff is about whitening. but I don't like getting even more white I'm already pale. korean beauty is a lot about getting rid of tan ?
@salt99867 жыл бұрын
Instead of getting rid of the tan, it’s more like getting rid of the dullness of skin. I’d say majority of korean skincare is aimed towards brightening which I wouldn’t necessarily say it would make you paler, it just provides you with a healthier, brightened skin.
@SashaKhripkova7 жыл бұрын
It's really not about making the skin white, but adding in brightness so that the skin looks and feels healthy and youthful. Our skin is exposed to so much, mainly the sun, and acne is something that affects a lot of people. Using vitamin c or any "whitening product" is really just brightening the skin and slowly working at erasing sun spots and post inflammatory hyper pigmentation or redness
