I LOVE the d’Alba Vital Spray Serum with white truffle and rose water… unbelievably hydrating throughout the day, and a wonderful mist to use before moisturizing at night.

I love the essence and starting cream from Secret Key. I won't be without them. I also love the face wash from Benton, eye cream and essence. I have the setting spray that you do but haven't used it yet.

Here we go...😁 Rice Ceramide Mosturizing Emulsion (The Face Shop) Multi-Function All-in-One Anti-Aging Snail Repair cream (Seoul Ceuticals) Fermentstion Eye Cream (Benton) Ginger & Retinal eye cream (House of Joseon?) Bifida Complex Repair 70% For normal and combination skin I recommend all the cushion foundations and powders from Mamonde. The Iope cushion blushes are fantastic (if you can find them) . I have like 10+ different sheet masks😬 all from Korea.

I’m curious about the Seoul ceuticals multi function all in one etc cream. Do you use that as your final product…a daytime/nighttime moisturiser? I’m looking for something rather heavy duty for my dry skin to top off my serums etc. Thanks for the suggestions!

@@gladhead thanks so much! I started doing red light therapy and it’s really dried me out. More so than normal. I don’t want to stop ( although I’m very cautious and tip toeing in) but I think I’ll go back to only K skin care. It’s that heavy duty mointurizer that’s my missing link!

Hi Laura although I haven't explored Korean makeup as yet, I've been using their skincare for several years. The Asian skin philosophy is all based around skin health, treating the skin gently and giving it soothing/hydrating products to allow the skin to glow ie "glass skin". I'm someone with both rosacea and eczema, so this focus on skin health and gentle skincare tends to suit my skin really well. I also have incredibly dry/thirsty skin and the layering process works really well for me - layering up toners and essences is more economical than trying to layer the small 30ml serums. Most Korean skincare is fairly priced also and you can get some wonderful products on more of a budget. I have far too many favourites to list here in it's entirety, but a few I'm using right now are: the cosrx cica, propolis and ABC refreshing toners are all favourites, yet they're all favourites for differing reasons - the cica is so soothing, the propolis is super hydrating/moisturisng and the ABC gives more clarity to the skin. the Laneige cream skin refiner - an essential for dry skin in the colder months. It really boosts moisture in a lightweight layer. Originally designed to replace moisturiser on more combo/normal skin, for dry skin it really boosts the moisture you get from your moisturiser used over it. It's super gentle and has great antioxidant benefit from the white tea in it - I just love it and have used it for a few years (multiple repurchases). I think it might be a little greasy on oily skin, but for dry skin it's amazing. Cleansing oils are often wonderful from Korean beauty - Asian beauty is where these originated from. I like the purito from green cleansing oil and the dear, Klairs cleansing oil in the clear bottle (the black bottle has fragrance). Essences - the Benton fermentation essence is wonderful, the neogen essence is really great and if you want something super affordable the Pyunkang Yul essence/toner is a great buy. Best wishes.

I have been watching you off and on for years, main reason I wasn't watching constantly was, I had inundated my makeup collection a couple yrs ago and was no longer interested in Makeup content. I started watching you again and came across one of your dance videos (you go girl), it sent me down a rabbit hole. I purchased the amazing eyeshadow brush you rave about and WOW! 95% of my brushes are Japanese and this brush is perfection 💗. I've been using Essence of the face for so many years. I even use it to set my makeup! Yes! I really do. Missha BB cream is my favorite because it has such great sunscreen protection! I live near a Korean store, so its easy to find fantastic products. I still won't stop using my basis soap, but i did buy the red bean rice by SRB wash that might replace it.... Its going to be difficult for me. I bought another brush, i couldn't resist! Thank you so much for making it easy to buy products that you use. I love the way you list them!❤

Love your videos! Your skin looks amazing 😊. I have oily skin at 67, I use canmake loose and compact powder, you talked about that brand a while back, keeps oil at bay perfectly. You also recommended elf micro fine setting spray I spray it on my Standsout sponge excellent end result.

Whatever you show always ends up being on my list! I love this presentation, and am looking for a substitute for my NARS Radiant Creamy concealer. I like having a few different concealers on hand - different textures and different color tones for different problems, different methods of application - and it seems that lately, I've been going through my NARS concealers at double the rate of others. I don't think it's a product preference issue; could they be downsizing the amount of product they put into those little containers? I'll have to check that out. Of course, it could never be user error...😉😜! Anyway, love this video today, and am grateful for the introductions to the K Beauty world. Thanks, Laura Rae!

I love Korean Skincare & make up and remember starting the Missha when it only had three colors. I had been using Japanese skincare since my teens, as my Mom's BF was from Japan and she would bring us skincare and Japanese snacks when she would return from visiting her family. Her daughter and I have been friends since kindergarten & she was my Maid of Honor. Our fathers having served in the Army together then upon retirement both going to work at NASA in Florida. My interest in Korean skincare started when my granddaughter began studying the Korean Language & Michelle Phan started blowing up KZbin. Thank you, Laura. Very nice video and array of products. I'm not too familiar with Korean products. I recently bought the COSRX Propolis Synergy Toner. Seems very nice and moisturizing although the finish is a bit tacky, so I apply a serum on top. I'm liking the L'oreal Midnight serum for that.
