Korean Birthcare Center: They helped me lose 13 pounds in two weeks! - Sanhujoriwon (산후조리원)

After giving birth to the baby, I went to a postpartum clinic with JJ.
In Korea, culturally, women are recommended to go to these clinics (a.k.a. Choriwon) for better recovery. They take care of new moms and their babies, with food services catered to their door, specialized massages and classes about baby care.
Because of Covid-19, my husband, Ed was not allowed to come to the clinic with us. It was complete isolation with just me and JJ for the last two weeks.
This is how it went down.

This is good , they should do it all over the world . Women will not develop postpartum depression. Here in Uk after baby , things don’t stop.

Unfortunately, no. However, they had a couple ladies who were not Korean nationals. They were communicating with them in Korean 😗
