They have all kinds of consumer goods that people might need, and most importantly, a wide array of options for affordable, tasty food.

People always mistake Samgak Kimbap and Onigiri as the same, but they are quite differrent. Both are yummy, but I like Samgak Kimbap more because there are more flavors and makers are more willing to experiment with new flavors.

The thing is, convenience store food is not really cheap. I live in the outskirts of Seoul and we have two 24 hour restaurants that serve cheap and nutritious food aimed at students or low-income residents. They won’t be the fanciest restaurants, or have English-speaking staff or menus but you can have a meal for $4.50-$6 with unlimited 반찬 (side-dishes). @Jimmy if you’d be down I’d be happy to take you to one!
