In this video, I’ll demonstrate how native Korean speakers order coffee in Korea. The conversation closely mirrors what I encounter in real life. Would you like to watch together? 😊

I'm an upper beginner on a good day and I understood about half of this conversation (when pausing every once in a while). This is a great exercise for me, especially since I'm currently in Korea and want to improve so bad! This video is excellent, shocked that you don't have more subscribers. Thank you :)

Yesssssss!!! This is exactly what we needed!!!!! 😍😍😍 As a person with real-life-Korean-conversation-phobia, I often find it hard to apply conversations from textbooks to real-life. But this video demonstrated a perfect example of that! 이 영상 속의 "카페에 대화"는 제가 본 영상 중에서 실생활에 가장 가까운 대화예요. 너무 너무 고마워요!! 😍

@santoverse
@santoverse Жыл бұрын
Ahh- 인싸(INSSA) and 아싸(ASSA) are slang words. 인싸 is more like a person who's very social and outgoing, and 아싸 is the opposite. I'd translate 인싸 as "social butterfly", and 아싸 as "wallflower." hope this helps! hehe

아 그리고 저 질문이 있어요! Is "카페" pronounced as "까페" only when it means "coffee shop"? If it's part of the name of a drink, like "카페모카" (1:35) or "디카페인 커피" (1:04), then it is pronounced as "카"?
@santoverse
@santoverse 2 жыл бұрын
It depends on the person. Some pronounce it as [까페OO] and some do it as [카페OO]. Similarly, for the word '마키아또', some pronounce it as [마끼아또]😊. But for '카페' and '카페인', the majority of Koreans pronounce them as [까페] and [카페인].
@laurasden
@laurasden 2 жыл бұрын
