In Korean, there are lots of counting units. The counting units mentioned in this video are commonly used in everyday life.
There are two types of numbers: Sino-Korean numbers and Pure Korean numbers. To use counting units, it is necessary to know the Pure Korean number system in Korean. On the other hand, the word "사람" can be used both for counting people and for the general meaning of a person. So, "한 명" and "한 사람" both mean the same thing, which is "one person" in English. ⭐"명" is used for counting "all cases" of people, while "사람" is used for counting people in general situations. The counting unit 벽돌 is both '개' and '장', usually the things that can be stacked, like regular paper, can be counted in units '장'. And '개' is general unit for things, so can be used for all things!! '송이' is for flowers. '벌' is for clothes and sometimes used for the 'pair' things like chopsticks.🥰
