Notes on Romanization : Studying with my book, you might have noticed that the romanization in the book differs from the one in this video. In the book, the standardized romanization is used. The reason why different resources provide varying romanizations is that each believes their version best represents the pronunciation in English. This confusion often stems from the fact that Korean and English have different pronunciation systems. However, there is a standardized system for the romanization of Korean words, which the book follows. Aside from providing place names to foreigners or when teaching Hangeul to foreign students for the first time, it's uncommon to use romanized letters for Korean words. So ultimately, at some point, you will need to get comfortable reading Hangeul alone and drop romanization for more effective studies. Therefore, when studying Hangeul using romanization, it is recommended to *practice recalling the Korean pronunciation that each romanized letter represents,* rather than taking the letters at face value. 화이팅!✨ (화이팅 comes from "Fighting" and it can be translated as "You can do it" or "I cheer for you" ^^)

What I noticed about the numbers are they are very similar to English once you really think about it. For example: 200 is two hundred, and 200 in Korean is 이 백. As you can see, they both have two words per number character. Hope this helps! :)

Thank You so much for your video!! I enjoy language so much and I really feel like I’m learning!! I really appreciate these videos so much!! Once you start writing the numbers in Hangul, reading them begins to make so much sense!! 😃 I enjoy language so much because when you speak more than one fluently it becomes much easier to understand the sentence structure of other languages. I honestly commend every person who goes from any other language to English because the sentence structure is so different, that I used to cry doing my English lessons. It’s so different from Spanish and the spelling made NO SENSE to me. (Still doesn’t ☺️)

You are amazing. I went through so many classes online but how you teach is so easy and understandable. Please continue to do this and once I come to Korea this August I would personally like to have classes with you. Love from India.

Thank you for this,, Im having a training but since Im at work while attending training through online I can't catch up with the leason. I've learned a lot in here... But, I've noticed that the spelling of words from my materials and yours are different. It's giving me a hard time how to write them in hangul. Such big thanks here😘

As a Chinese speaker, I found the sino numbers so easy. The pronunciations for all the numbers are really similar, and also the way Korean people say it is exactly the same as it is in Chinese. I found this video really helpful and thank you so much!
