I got my mom real good one time. She had just walked in with a bunch of grocery bags and I jumped out yelling 'meatball'. She jumped so high I couldn't breathe from laughing so hard. She then promptly smacked the back of my head. Worth it.

hahahaha --- Their laughter is contagious. I really enjoyed these pranks. They did not seem mean like some pranks can be.

I could never do that to my mom. She's so gangsta not only isn't she going to scream but she'd be beating me up while cursing out my mom (herself), my mom's mother (HER mother) and my mom's mother's ancestors (HER ancestors) for doing an awful job of teaching me how to respect my elders. How do I know? My siblings TRIED. 🤣🤣🤣 But I spend everyday scaring the bejeezus out of my kids lmao 🤣.

I like these gals. They seem so ... so...genuine? And I have an outright aversion to any scare pranks. They can have tragic consequences. We had a neighbor that had a surprise party thrown for him on his 50th birthday. They yelled surprise and he had a heart attack, staggered back and fell off the porch. He fell on top of a piece of rebar that was used to hold up some hollyhock flowers. It stabbed into him and go into his kidney. He lived but he was never the same. Needless to say it was not a 'happy' birthday.

@@garymonaghan7196 Oh, he is long dead. This happened in the mid 70s. But yeah, EXTREMELY rare but it left an indelible impression on me. I never, ever try to startle anyone as a joke. In fact, I don't get the joy in trying to instill fear on the unsuspecting at all now. Seems kinda of mean and even a bit sadistic. But like I said, indelible impression. Before that happened, it never occurred to me it might be mean.

@@AceMoonshot Well my daughter does it to me all the time and she is 16 I’m 56 and I love it because it’s my turn now to get her because I don’t think that kind of scaring is mean it’s all done out of fun but you Gotta know who to do it to some people would just rather cut your throat but some of them love it go watch the Texas bushman and listen to all of them thanking him for scaring them. Some have even said that was the best thing that’s ever happened to them so there’s only a few people like you that are afraid or have had something tragic happened to them but for the most part people tend to enjoy it I’m sorry for what happened to you that really sucks and I would probably feel the same way but I grew up with my dad scaring the crap out of my brother and sister and myself so it’s like a tradition around here I just hope nothing ever happens badly enough to where I would stop because it is fun I enjoyed being scared myself that’s why I go on roller coaster rides I like to be scared or jump out of planes I like to be scared that type of scaring anyway it’s OK with me but me and People trying to rob you and just doing bullshit that is not good scaring. To me there is a difference but you also have to know when you’re going to scare somebody make sure you check out the area you’re around when you do scare somebody in case they do fall down they don’t hurt themselves there’s a time and a place to do it and not every time and not every place is the time to do it. Wow I’m not sure I made sense lol None of this is meant to read as A mean text so please don’t take it that way. By the way if that happened in the 70s is he still around

My favorite wife prank when watching a movie is calling her phone in the kitchen and then asking her to bring a drink back.
