In malaysia this is how we celebrate it. Early in the morning, go for eid prayer then after come home we have an apologise session with the whole family lining up and basically hugging while saying sorry for every mistake. That is when we get pocket money from the olders 😁 After that we would have a big feast with the family. Then we would go to our neighbours, relative and friends houses to give a visit and basically having small conversation and forgiving again. Get pocket money from neighbours too!Normally, there will be a group of kids coming to your house and shout "Assalamualaikum, we're here to celebrate eid!" mostly to collect pocket money 🤣 But everything is so fun. Usually night before eid, everyone will be busy changing their new curtain, cleaning the house, the moms and girls will be at the kitchen cooking many special dish while the kids would be outside playing firecrackers. It is so fun especially when a whole big family gather together ☺️

In Malaysia we did celebrate eid for 3 days... Some women will wear henna.. 1 day before eid,all family will decorate their house with colourful lamps outside.. Buy new clothes and prepare traditional food... In first day, neighbours will visit each other house and it is a very big festival.. But since corona it is impossible to do so.. Hope things wil get better in the future inshaAllah.. Also for the future of palestine too.. 😁😁

In INDIA we celebrate EID like you guys celebrate, we also celebrated Eid for three days, and Mahendi (henna) is very important for women's specially for girls, and clean our house very hardly and decorate it, buy new clothes, prepare traditional food like in dessert we definitely prepare "Sevaiyan, Sheer Korma, Gulab Jamun, Shahi Tukra" these dessert are very important and traditional too and in the food we mostly prepare "Biryani, Chicken Fry, Samosa, Pakode and many foods are here, and all three days we visit our relatives, friends and neighbours home and they visit our home, as you say it is a very big festival you all MUSLIM know it is 💯 true, but since Two years we can't go outside of our house we can't celebrate Eid like that, but INSHA ALLAH next year we will celebrate Eid like that.
