In this lesson, we learn how to use 몇 (how many) and counter words that can follow it. 몇 is used when you are asking for specific number of things, people or animals, and it can also be used when asking someone's age, what time it is, or how many hours/months it takes.

I have a suggestion, would you make a "Learn Korean with Lyrics" video with songs written by foreign members of a group?? For example, Momo of Twice wrote Hot & Love Foolish, MiSaMo of Twice wrote Shot Thru The Heart... I think it would be interesting to analyse the foreign members ability in writing a Korean song... Hi vicky. 🙋🏻‍♀️ Your videos are the best Iam learning a lot from your videos thank you so much for your hard word. I want you to make a video on “ how to read words written one below another” because in almost each kdrama we can see “resignation letter” so I cant read such words And even in historic drama they write right to left , below another and start writing from last page , can you please explain why? Thank you so much ✌🏻 i hope you will consider my request❤️ lots of love from India 🇮🇳
@KoreanwithMissVicky
@KoreanwithMissVicky 4 жыл бұрын
Ohh at first I was lost, but now I get what you're saying! haha :) You don't need to worry about vertically written Korean, actually. It's pretty old, and we don't write like that anymore, unless we're trying to imitate someone from the past or in a really formal situation like writing a resignation letter, but these days we don't really do that anymore. And yes in historic drama, you can see that people write vertically, but if you look closely, they're not writing Hangul. They're writing Chinese characters, because way back in history, we used Chinese characters and we wrote like that. It's just part of the drama to make it look real, so it's something you don't need to worry about :)

Your lessons really help a lot 🥰 and your teaching style is one of the bests ...💯 Can you please clear my one doubt ?! These are two sentences in Hindi: 1) मैंने कल खाना खाया था। 2) कल मैंने खाना खाया था। Both of them are correct in Hindi language. When translated word to word, the translation is: 1) 나는 어제 음식을 먹었어요. 2) 어제 나는 음식을 먹었어요. Are these two correct in Korean too or only the first one is correct?
@KoreanwithMissVicky

Yes you can usually put 의 after a person-noun to indicate it belongs to someone. So 나의 책 means me's book (my book) 저의 공책 means me's notebook (my notebook) 엄마의 공책 means Mom's book. 나의 can be abbreviated to "내" and 저의 can be abbreviate to 제. Other than that, there's no abbreviation, and you can just put -의 to mean possession. I hope this helped a bit. And for tenses, it's recommendable to start from present, past, future and present progressive. Past progressive and future progressive wouldn't be too hard to understand if you master those four! 파이팅❤❤
