haha I don't know if this is relevant but Anthony (the food expert Sehee and the PD found attractive) is open to women as well! he said it's about his feeling and not gender that matters to him :)

I really hope the Fab 5 go to Korea!! I really liked their season in Japan because it was interesting seeing them interact with a different culture and help people in another part of the world.. I think they’d do well if they went to Korea
@runway53384 жыл бұрын
I agree! Their special in Japan was incredibly wholesome and really touches on your emotions. I would love to see them continue that as they travel across the globe.

The original show was called Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and it aired on the Bravo channel. The title was shortened to Queer Eye later and doesn't always help ONLY men now. It helps some women now too. And not everyone they help is straight any more. Essentially they've made it equal opportunity help and I love them more for it. :) Fixed the autocorrect goofups lol

Exactly what I was gonna comment. The Netflix version is so much more woke and breaking stereotypes than the first one. Tho I loved that too, and it was modern back in the day.

It brings back memories.. I still remember love watching it back then in 2003.. 🥰🥰

I was going to say the same thing. :) I’m so happy they help anyone who asks now, instead of just straight males. Each story of each hero (their client) is so touching. :)

I was never a fan of this show when it came out years ago on tlc since they tried to be over the top to much but it looks like the new cast on netflix is doing a better job of really helping the people out in all ways

Nocturnal Emissions as someone part of lgbt I felt no homophobic approach of the comment. I actually I agree that the new fab five on Netflix is way better and more sincere than the one on tlc. The one on TV was over the top. The person never said anything bad about lgbt or tried to put them down. They were talking about their opinion on the two shows which they have every right to do so. Not liking a show that is based on lgbt isn’t homophobic unless the reason behind is because of the FACT that it is lgbt. I personally don’t like The L word, yet I’m gay af. I don’t like queer eye as much as others, am I homophobic? No I just don’t like it as much and I have the right to feel that way. So don’t go around calling people homophobic just because you don’t agree with their opinion on a SHOW.

The new one is amazing! I cry ever episode. If you follow the people that they’ve helped, on Instagram, you see their lives have dramatically changed through the show, the fab5 still stay in touch with them.

It warms my heart to see them be so respectful, open minded, accepting, and empathetic to the LGBTQ+ community. You are good allies, and I hope and pray more people learn the simple fact that love is love. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being such good human beings. It gives me hope in the world to see this. Much love and respect from Jackson, Ohio, USA. 💜💜💜

I think it so hard to make the five fab goes to korea. Because korean people always priority their privacy.
@zengardengnome Жыл бұрын
I'd like to share that "queer" is also a derogatory word. For many in the LGBTQI community, it's quite upsetting to see it used to promote shows. It's really only appropriate for people within the community to use it, and it can be very upsetting to hear straight people use it to refer to us. I love the new Queer Eye, and I wish it was either called something else or came with a warning about the term. Hope that's helpful, many blessings.

I'm pretty sure that this is a reboot of a show from the 90's called "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy." It's not that new. I'm surprised that in today's climate, the SJW's haven't tried to get it cancelled for stereotyping homosexuals.
@NotADood4 жыл бұрын
It is a reboot of "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy," but that was in the mid-2000s. You're not too far off. It's hard to predict what SJWs will get offended by. They're pretty inconsistent.

Like our guy in the video said, it's underground for now. The mood is changing, though. I also think that when it's not so underground, Korean LGBTQ+ people will be more respected than they are in the States, since I think most Koreans prefer to respect each other's boundaries already as a matter of practice and culture.
@hoyeonsgf83714 жыл бұрын
you ll be suprised then, there a lot of lgbtq people there
