I'm African American, but what I love about Bollywood dancing is that it's so clever. It seems wild, but each movement takes inspiration from daily movements and adds music and rhythm to it. I just love it. That's why it's so fun.

@GenerationNextNextNext As an indian I am very delighted that u even mention this, many of people from other countries may think that we indians dance wildly without considering steps but it's not that, if they even care to look towards hand movements and facial expressions they will know that we are literally expressing the song lyrics or even conversing through our dances about our daily experiences(like majority of indian songs about our day to day feelings and experiences). I am really happy that u enjoy bollywood dance and have even deep insight about that too.

Before I fell into the Kpop abyss, I was into Bollywood so much, I wanted to take Bollywood dance courses. But my mum wouldn't let me, so it stayed with watching Bollywood films. 😂

It's true that Indian dance seems easy but it takes so much energy and wedding dances are just for fun , some Indian dances are so hard that a non dancer never dance like that like Malang, kamali, doom 1 , jai jai shiv sankar and not to mention about south indian (not a chance), I once try it but hurt my back, legs and hands . Normal indian dances are ok for me 😅 and as a non dancer kpop dances are easy to follow maximum take 1 or 2 days.

I think there are easy aswell as hard dances in both the music industries so we can't say that kpop dances are easier than Indian dances because if we take stray kids or bts or exo or any boy group for that matter of fact they have some of the most hardcore choreographies which can easily compete with hard Indian dances......so saying that kpop dances are easier seems sort of absurd

​@@Vaishnaviraghav30 Everything required practice and a lot of patience. In my opinion I find classic Indian dance Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Kathakali etc hard than modern dance. I remember one of my classmate want to get a visharad or BA Kathak degree which atleast required 7 seven year. I was shocked when I first hear it. And when he say for becoming a teacher one have to invest atleast 15-20, sometimes more years. I thought it is more hard than my imagination.😅

@@anjaanunknown2576 but aren't those dance traditional dances of India because in Bollywood or Tollywood its mostly Freestyle which is the same as kpop. As of these traditional dances of India there are traditional korean dances aswell such as Fan dance (Buchaechum), Untying evil spirits (Salpuri), Monk dance (Seungmu), Three Drum Dance (Samgomu) which takes years and years to perfect. But yeah true there are so many time when I wish to learn Kathak but damn the consistency and focus it needs is crazy and even I have a friend who's been learning bharatnatyam since the age of 5 and she's told me that there are even colleges to get a degree until you can finally become a licenced teacher and I was literally like how can anyone be so persistent cause I am the person who gets bored after 1 week of starting a new hobby so it was legitimate mind blowing for me!☠️🙌🏻

The American channel, giggle itself when yuki came, kpop idols own, doja cat who learned Indian classical said it's seems easy steps of Indian dance but drain so much energy. Only Indian (not all include myself) can dance one hour or more in any festivals, weddings. It's my opinions, you have your opinion. One thing I observe some Indians which are not dancer professionally But actually cover bts, exo etc hardcore dance. But, one thing for sure you and I both can't dance like Indian for long nor we can't dance like your legendary bts, exo etc.😅🤣
