Chino, born to Korean immigrants, sought refuge from a tumultuous household by turning to the streets to escape his violent father. Embraced by the infamous Toonerville Rifa 13 Gang in Atwater Village, Chino found a sense of camaraderie and support. Immersed in the gang culture, he embraced the brotherhood and consistently carried a pistol for protection. Toonerville Rifa 13 originated in the 1930s, establishing its presence in Northeast Los Angeles(NELA) and South Glendale. Initially known as the "Latin Souls" before adopting the name "Toonerville" in the early 1940s, the gang drew inspiration from the Pacific Electric Railway trolley that traversed Atwater Village and South Glendale. Locals referred to this trolley as the "Toonerville Trolley," inspired by the cartoon trolley featured in the Toonerville Folks comic strip.
During the 1960s and 1970s, Toonerville gained notoriety for its involvement in drive-by shootings, homicides, robberies, assaults, and burglaries within Glendale.
A notable member, Timothy Joseph McGhee, faced the death penalty in 2009 for his role in three separate homicides and is suspected of involvement in up to twelve murders in the Los Angeles area. Toonerville Rifa 13 claims Atwater Village as its turf.
"Luciferian" typically refers to beliefs, ideologies, or practices associated with Luciferianism. Luciferianism is a philosophical and spiritual movement that often emphasizes individualism, enlightenment, and the pursuit of personal growth and knowledge. It does not necessarily involve the worship of Satan or an evil deity, as the name might suggest to some.
Luciferians may interpret the figure of Lucifer as a symbol of enlightenment, rebellion against oppressive forces, or the pursuit of knowledge and personal freedom. The movement has diverse interpretations and beliefs, and individuals who identify as Luciferians may have varying views on spirituality, ethics, and the role of symbolism in their practices.
It's important to note that Luciferianism is distinct from Satanism, as Luciferians often reject the traditional Christian understanding of Satan as an evil figure. Instead, they may view Lucifer as a symbol of positive qualities such as enlightenment, independence, and self-discovery.
As with any belief system, interpretations and practices within Luciferianism can vary widely among individuals who identify with the label.

Chino, do you know why your grandmother and parents are Christians? Because Christian missionaries died in droves for our people to be saved. Look up people like Ruby Kendrick, who gave her all for us when we had nothing and hated outsiders. They didn't take anything from Korea, but gave everything to our country. All of our major hospitals (e.g., Ilsin, Severance) and universities (e.g., Ewha, Yonsei) were built by Christians. We are now world leaders in the medical science and education fields. Christians also supported and protected Korean independence fighters against Imperial Japan when they colonized and brutalized us. That's why Ahn Joong Geun is often called "Doh-ma" (Thomas), because he was a believer. Yu Gwan Sun and Kim Ku were Christians too. Ahn Chang Ho, whose house is memorialized at USC and his name is on the LA freeway (Dosan Ahn Chang Ho Exchange) was also a believer. The Korean community in LA, and America really, was established by him and other Korean Christians. They paved the way for you and I to have a place in Los Angeles. And outside of our community, how do you think Koreans got to the US? It was after the Civil Rights Movement, led largely by African American churches. They opened the door for immigration acts to be enacted in the 60s, abolish racist laws like the Asian Exclusion Act, and us to immigrate to the USA in large numbers. Chino, if it wasnt for God working through Christians, guys like you and I may not have ever been born. Nor would we be in the city we love so much. NO history, NO self. KNOW history, KNOW self!

Organized religions are borderline cults. I've met some decent Christians but going to church doesn't make you special or better than others. There is a creator/God...but I highly doubt it has anything to do with any of the religious nonsense

I think the concept of "Luciferianism" isnt that far removed from many people's belief systems, its just the association with the name "Lucifer" that scares people and prevents them from even trying to understand it further. That said, i dont really consider myself a christian but christianity forms that baccbone of my beliefs i guess you could say. There are a lot of things in christianity that require you to suspend disbelief, whereas "Luciferianism" as ive heard it described seems much more practical and rational.
