I watched a video with Asians trying to tell other Asians apart and not everyone was able to correctly guess which part of Asia the person was from so this means that not all Asians can accurately identify each other. I am not Asian but I rarely forget a face. Despite what some might think, not all Asians look alike. As humans we all have distinct features and quite frankly some people just are not good with faces just like some people are not good with names. I'm watching a lot of Cdramas rn and while I don't know all the names of the actors, I recognize them on sight. China is so diverse that I've seen Cdrama actors that look like they could be Indian or Korean. Not to mention some people could be mixed which makes it even more difficult. My first dramas were kdramas. I find that kdrama actors seem to put more effort into "bodybuilding". When I switched to Cdramas for a change I noticed right away the difference. It's so rare to come across Cdrama or Jdrama actors with such a body type. In fact when it comes to Jdrama actors they tend to have what some people describe as a "fey" like appearance. Very slim and with "pretty boy" features so I would say Japanese actors would be the easiest to identify then Kdrama actors then Cdrama actors.
