Keyboard Hangul/Hanja guide below (Click Read More) 月Moon火Fire水Water木Tree金Gold土Soil日Sun 감사합니다 선생님. copy this to a WordPad document, Notepad isn't good for this. Instructions for Windows 7 (Win8/10 should be similar) Start/Control Panel Upper right say "View by Category"? Click this... Clock, Language and Region "Change keyboards or other input methods." Upper right say "View by Small/Large icons" Click "Region and Language" Now do this: Keyboards and Languages tab/Change keyboards General Tab, click Add Double click "Korean" to expand it [+] becomes [-] check Microsoft IME (don't check other boxes!) OK all dialog boxes Pro tip: Left Alt+Shift is the default Language changing shortcut Use mouse macro software to change button 4 or 5 into Alt+Shift In taskbar look for EN (English) click EN change it to KO (Korean) The A button when clicked becomes 가 Click to toggle A=English 가=한글 When KO is on A or 가 Windows shortcuts are different! Ctrl+F (Find) gets messed up because Ctrl is now a shortcut for Hanja It's like clicking the Hanja button (The one next to 가) Make a wordpad document (Windows) click in the wordpad document, it must be the current windows target! now switch EN to KO/가 Windows remembers different Windows boxes seperately so one might be EN another KO, make sure your WordPad is KO/가 now type 일 (dlf) with 일 Highlighted (selected) click the hanja button in KO mode. now click 日날 일 and that's how you use Hanja The Hanja box is like the search suggestions in your browser search bar, you get multiple suggested characters and you click the one you want to use. Notes: You can't highlight Korean Hangul on a webpage and click the Hanja button for suggestions, it must be text that you're currently typing because you're converting typed text from 한글 to Hanja. The nice thing about Wordpad is that it's built into Windows so you don't need to purchase it, also you can click "Select all" and then change the font or use the "View" tab to Zoom in/Zoom out.
