@@BiphDb first of all they stayed at Delhi and Delhi's Street food is famous worldwide And secondly time has changed now and even the roadside vendors are very hygienic And once I met a vendor who had the certificate from fssai (hope you know) which certified that the food was hygienic I know there are still many stalls which are not hygienic but nowadays the situation is bit better

Am frm kerala.. while our honeymoon diaries we went to delhi. At that time 1stly i hv tired pani puri(here in kerala we get those but authentic recipe i wanna eat) frm street. Pani puri ...taking it's Name itself, starts mouth watering. The main flavour is of tamarind chutney and the mint Corriander water. Bhel puri is not a breakfast item. It is a chaat item taken snack as in Mid meal. Chhaas i.e buttermilk is prepared out of curd, water and salt and cumin powder. Is good for digestion. I am glad you liked all these chaat items. All items are pure vegetarian.

It's Buttermilk i guess made with curd, water and salt. It's very helpful in digestion and we Indians drink it after having meals (generally in the lunchtime). It helps to digest the food easily and makes the digestion good. Very helpful in bloating, gastric problems. I hope this info will help you get the better idea of that beverage. 😇

sometimes sweet or salted buttermilk can become sour than normal if kept for too long or kept in room temperature for long. I guess they got the much sour buttermilk. I'm not sure though.
