Hey Josh and Ollie! I've been watching your channels for ~6 years now. I've been a RAW vegan (all veggies & fruit, nothing cooked) for 2 1/2 years. I still watch because I enjoy watching your energy. I'd be lying if I told you I wasn't cringing when you were eating southern or greasy food but I really like how you conduct your brand, its really wholesome and you genuinely feel like friends. So, despite being a raw vegan, I've actually found a way to make my own 100% raw gochugang that tastes pretty similiar, I make a salad mix with it over bok choy and it was inspired by your channel. I eat asian pears with matcha every morning. My goal is actually to make more korean inspired food and I watch your channel to figure out my next sources of inspiration and challenges to make comparable raw food. I find ways to incorporate what I can about how you guys eat so yes, there are some vegans watching. Love you guys and wish you all the best!! ❤❤❤❤❤

When she mentioned the reason they don't fight, it made me think of this restaurant in Hawaii that is separated with two distinct parts of the kitchen. The wife is in total control of anything dessert related, and the man deals with anything specifically like a meal meal in preparation. They're a happy relationship because he doesnt tell her what her vision for a new dessert offering is, and he's happy because his wife doesn't critique his work with the fish.

I didn’t know of Gold Buuda and Lil Cherry, but I’m so glad that they came and shared themselves with you and your viewers. I loved hearing of their story and their continued journey through food, music, culture, and love. It gives me hope for my Asian-American kids to continue to believe in themselves and to be proud, wherever they choose to root themselves. And Lil Cherry’s got a cute Southern twang, no?😂

I understand why you might want to do it and I enjoy some moments, but my least favorite episodes are when you have celebrities on. The episodes with your friends, family and students are better because to me those people are more interesting. So please have many more episodes featuring different types of ordinary people.

For me, I love it. Like Barney and Guvna and Mr Z.. their rappers and chef but many KE fans instantly love them and waiting to get them in Korea.
@dariel2992 жыл бұрын
the celebs episodes are good though imo, cause most of them are treated as ordinary people on this channel, so u see a diff side of them that is relatable to everyone, which u dont see often
@seungkim85762 жыл бұрын
@@whereyoubean The Barney and Guvna episodes are my favorite celeb ones. Mostly because they're funny, but also because they have less of a self-promotional vibe than the ones with Korean celebs. I think celebs have plenty of outlets for telling their stories, so I'd like to see this channel do more creative content with ordinary people.
@seungkim85762 жыл бұрын
@@dariel299 I agree that Josh and Ollie do a good job with showing a slightly different side to the celebs, but I don't think it's their forte. No celebrity episode has been as interesting as the episodes with Johnny or as funny as their conversations with Andy and (I forget his Indian friend's name). Josh and Ollie have a real talent for showing how engaging ordinary people can be, so those are the episodes I prefer. Just my taste, that's all.

This interview actually let me appreciate this duo a lot more now that I know their backstory and intentions. They do their music from a genuine place and have a real love for it. Also it’s a huge breath of fresh air to see khh artists doing music and not exploit black culture. Maybe it’s because they lived in the states but I have a feeling they understand the difference between cultural appropriation and appreciation. One Love!!!

Why is Josh always get embarrassed of Ollie. Let him be him and do his thing. Ollie is so full of life and his sense of humor is everything. 🥰 He add different elements into these videos. I love it .

I'm pretty Sure MOST of Josh's embarrassment after ALL of these years of being BEST Friends, is somewhat "Amped Up" for the added Comedic play between the two of them!?😎😄
