First gen b boy here. I was 10. did not know what i saw. The moves i see here. Some of them i did too. Could not dream or imagine that they would do move these days were impossible to think of back then. Such as stand on 1 hand and bounce a little. Watching this makes me wanna go aback to these times. The clothing, music, school and the people in general were more chill then these days. Less fighting and stand around in a circle that was the gang. no blades, guns, fights, and we all be happy and dance our feet until they was on fire. Talk all day with your mates. no phones and social media.

Absolutely fabulous dancing love the choreography! I don't see kids doing it much anymore where I live ❤❤❤ it was so much fun to stand around and watch them

@andrewjones2133 - the REAL gangs wear blue uniforms and badges. The REAL crooks work on Wall St and got away with a multi trillion dollar economic collapse, that tax payers bailed out. Make it make sense 🤷🏽

Back when chit was Fresh! Straight outta the package. No cookie cutter, no followers.... originality was mandatory. Biters got dealt with. Best decade ever. And it lives on. Breakers, Graffiti Artists, DJs, Emcees... This is the blueprint... and will never be duplicated. Legends never die. ♥️

Nah that man was probably a pop & lock icon from the 70's. Growing up in the 80's in NY, I remember break dancers doing this but they took it to another level with body & hand spins done on the floor. Dance was not only an acrobatic skill, but an expression.

Talk about letting the buzzing warp your head people now aren't more talented than they were back in the 70s,,80s and up its called evolving!!! Just like the kids in 2040 will look back at 2024 and say how much they changed!!! Trying something different and changing this move and twisting another way yeah its going to evolve no generation is better than the next generation!!!! I remember when they were just what they called poppin and lockin and some back spinning too now they're doing some crazy shit like spinning on the back then somehow going into a head spin then again somehow doing some antigravity Giro moon walk lol no not better just evolving

To me the 80s brought all cultures together then Break dancing to me greatest the street dance culture became recognised as a dance art like Ballet, Ballroom etc born in the ghettos now has recognition as a dance art nothing can beat that
@makeuthink21204 ай бұрын
It has elements of ballet, gymnastics, martial arts. Started in the "ghetto" but has non-ghetto elements.

Crazy that now Breakin can do far more difficult skills it is less popular and very much a minority thing. Not own set of flares absolutely no air flares. Just shows that you need to be aligned with current music. Afrobeats/Amapiano is leading the current dance trends. But still the nostalgia is heavy
