The cost of living in New York has always been higher than the rest of the nation. California is probably second now, but it has never been as bad as New York. Americans are increasingly becoming very health-conscious, and restaurants and food manufacturers are keenly aware of that; hence, the decrease in saltiness and sweetness in our foods ALL across the board. I particularly enjoyed this video because you were comparing Jollibee in the US to the Philippines', something I've always been curious about since I haven't tasted the Philippine version in eons; I'm glad to hear the Jollibee here is not that different. Keep up the good work, Jessica, love your videos!

I am truly appreciative of Jessica, whose KZbin videos on language and vocabulary are not only engaging but also incredibly educational. Her approach to teaching English is not just informative but also smart, as she intricately weaves in new words and phrases seamlessly into her content. Each video feels like a journey of discovery, where viewers, myself included, eagerly anticipate learning something new. Her dedication to empowering others with language skills is evident in the way she simplifies complex concepts and ensures that viewers grasp them effectively. Thanks to her, I've expanded my vocabulary and gained a deeper appreciation for the nuances of the English language.

Hi burger queen bees, I can see in Lia's eyes that she really enjoys in what she is eating at Jollibee and she's amazing. Holding the yum burger with her fingers (kamay-kamay) while munching on it. You know lovely ladies that in every Jollibbe branches in any part of the world is that they adapt to the consumers of the place like in USA is they lessen salt taste for old people to have their meals as well as sweetness for kids. The taste varies and sometimes totally different in any country comparing it to the Philippines. In Europe they use different cheese for their spaghetti as well as meats in which they use local meats for their patties. Salamat Jessica for another informative episode and please be aware of your sorroundings going around big apple city.

I think the reason why is because it's for foreigners who are more accustomed to international tastes, whereas the local Jollibee is still mainly marketed for kids. Still jelly with some of the stuff they sell internationally that NEVER made it locally like the iced fruit beverages and the halo-halo!!! (Please don't get me started on the halo-halo sundae, that's good but an abomination)

I hope Jollibee doesn't neglect the quality of their food here in the Philippines. Many have noticed that the quality has decreased since they have opened their international branches. The spaghetti sauce were scarce and their chicken joy were smaller. It's saddening to think that they were neglecting where they came from. 😢

Many love yumburgers 🤣 because it just taste like classic homey vibes it reminded us of childhood basically (same with jolly spaghetti) and compared to chicken sandwich which is more expensive, yumburger is much cheaper so a lot would go for yumburger than chicken sandwich. Also there's a popular meme about yumburger which is the langhap sarap meme where yumburger havers would open the yumburger in the middle of the bus where everyone else are gonna be craving for it and would be hungry for it, some would even open it directly in the a/c of the bus so that the smell or langhap sarap would really spread throughout the bus 🤣

Two Koreans who grew up eating Jollibee in the Philippines for over 10 years review Jollibee in the US. They discuss the menu, taste the food, and compare it to the Jollibee in the Philippines. They find the food to be similar but with some differences, and overall enjoy their experience at Jollibee in New York. First Time Trying Jollibee in the US Two Koreans review American Jollibee after growing up eating it in the Philippines. They discuss their excitement to try Jollibee in the US and their menu choices. They encounter difficulties with the menu and share their food choices and reactions. Exploring the Yum Burger Menu at Jollibee The menu only has chicken and sandwich, no burger. There are three kinds of Yum Burgers available. The Yum Burger tastes the same, regardless of the type. Tasting and Comparing Different Fast Food Items Describing the differences in taste and quality of the food items. Noting the similarity in taste between two different spaghetti dishes. Comparing the type of cheese used in the dishes. Comparing Jollibee's Chicken Joy and Yum Burger The original gravy is the best, but the spicy chicken Joy was sold out. The Yum Burger is popular as a quick meal in a production company like ABS-CBN. The chicken Joy is juicy and tender, but the skin is too salty. Exploring Brooklyn Bridge and Trying Filipino Food The quality of the food from 'The Box' is sturdy and good. Exploring Brooklyn Bridge before sunset and trying Filipino food like Yum Burger and adobo. The peach mango pie is still crunchy and not too sweet, a tasty Filipino dessert.

I rarely try jollibee since there's no jollibee here in Mountain Province. Me and my family mostly eat jollibee in Baguio City which take 6 hours to go there, and we only taste jollibee 2× everytime we go there for Christmas and Vacation. I tried the spaghetti it was delicious, and I tried the chicken, it was not that crispy but it was good. There was no Adobe Rice though. But everytime one of my parents go to a seminar in Baguio, Launion or anywhere far. They bring home spaghetti, with chicken, and yum burger, and also mango pie. These foods traveled 6 hours coming back, and when I tried the spaghetti it was same but we had to heat it up since it was cold. I tried the chicken, it was cold and we had to hit it up a little, and it was not that crispy too and it was salty, I also tried the fries, it was hard and salty but the mango pie was good as always but It is not crunchy. Well its understandable if they're not crispy and they're cold, since we are very far from other cities with jollibee. For my wish today since its my Birthday. I just hope that jollibee will make branches all around the Philippines, not just in cities, but also in some provinces. So we could enjoy jollibee all the time and we don't have to go far. Because they made jollibee in other countries but still haven't made branches all around our country. So I wish that one day, they will make atleats a small branch here in Mountain Province

The chickenjoy here in the US is more bigger but less salty. The jollibee spaghetti, palabok tastes better in the Philippines. The fries here is better and the gravy is somehow the same. The pineapple juice also is a winner here

Because the main market in the Philippines is the working classes who are encourage to come grab a meal on their pay day. In America, you have a more discriminating market spoiled with choices that adhere to higher standards for what is basic and for the masses. So no doubt, their serving sizes will be less oppressive and quality control would be more impressive. But we ❤ Jollibee.

Jollibee flavors actually tastes different in two states I had it from. In Maryland, it's a bit bland for me. It didn't taste like Jollibee at all. Especially the chicken joy. In Virginia however, it taste more like the Jollibee I use to eat here in the Philippines. More flavor on the chicken joy, since that is the signature of Jollibee. I haven't tried the Jollibee in Queens, but I think Jessica's thoughts about it are accurate, so I wouldn't doubt her. In conclusion, I don't know about the other states that has Jollibee, but I do really think it changes flavor from each state. I guess the more Filipinos in the area, the more accurate the flavors will be. 😁

Welcome to NYC! A couple fun facts 1. The neighborhood where you went to Jollibee is Woodside. The densest and most original Filipino community within NYC. That's actually where the first branch was and the other two branches are much more recent. 2. The metro card machines offer Korean because it is one of the priority languages of NYC. Korean community in the NYC area is enormous and particularly, there are many who do not speak English and live entirely within the community. So Korean translation is offered. Tagalog is also an official language of NYC and if you are a voter your voting information could be delivered in tagalog. 3. The metro card system is actually outdated. If you have a touch credit card you could have just touched it to the turnstile and no need to buy a ticket at the machine. Hope the rest of your trip was fun!

Higher cost = Higher Quality. Wish jollibee stays like that in PH and through observation they use local ingredients there you can tell the difference in quality between countries. Supposedly at first I thought Its pricey coz they import but after seeing the items nope there's no way Philippines will have these kind of ingredients coz even Jollibee here is not better than that store. Which sucks considering jollibee is from PH usually PH stores should deliver the best quality not subpar which they are doing now.

you two lovely ladies just went to my dream travel spot. If I could only go to one city before I die It would be NYC because my mother used to work there as a caregiver for almost 10 years until she got sick and had to go home and died peacefully here in the Philippines. I wanna go to the places that she visited a lot like that subway station in queens as she used to ride it weekly to Manhattan where the Lady she was taking care of was living. the timing of this release is Amazing as it was her Birthday just last week. God, I miss her so much, I remember we used to talk to her while she's waiting for the train in the Subway. someday I will go there and relive her experiences in honor of her memories.
