Best Tom Holland movie of all time. And Naomi Watts proved to be a fantastic physical actor (there's a scene where she's coughing up debris from her lungs because she was underwater for a while when the tsunami hit). I am so glad you brought up that film, because not enough people have seen it!!

I've been in a tornado before my dad and my brother and I were driving home and all of the sudden a tornado touchdown in a field next to us my dad got me and my brother to lay down in the back seat and we could feel he debris hitting out car and rocking it while we were driving and part of an old crumbling tree hit the top of our car . I remember crying saying I don't want to die the day before my birthday. But my dad's military instincts kicked in and he drove us through a field and drove to the sheriff's office and we took Shelter there . So that my nature disaster story .Thanks fort reading 😋

I live in Louisiana and in a hurricane we can get multiple tornados, the safest thing to do if you are outside is to jump in a ditch and lay with your feet crossed, face facing the ground and hands behind your head. Its the safest place unless you can find shelter very quickly in a nearby home.

Birds weren't specifically mentioned as one of the plagues of Egypt in Bible, but one of them is hordes of wild animals in general so I guess technically birds would classify as part of that. But you're probably thinking of the frogs and locusts.

Couldn’t see shit cause it was like 12am. Some how I find our friends truck, but I said “oh shit, bro I need Doritos!” so I ran all the way back to the tent getting pelted by hail; come back and chilled in the truck ate whole bad of Doritos🤷🏼‍♂️ and that’s all I remember 😂

I think I made this suggestion a while back on another one of your videos, and I am glad to see it finally happen!! The Day after Tomorrow is still the best one, in my opinion. Armageddon is also very memorable, even though the premise is absurd (in the cast commentary, the actors questioned why it was somehow more logical to train oil drillers how to be astronauts than to teach astronauts how to be oil drillers).

Yeah. I was born and raised in Kansas. All of us who have experienced tornados usually aren't scared of them in the slightest. At my apartment complex, we watched one until the rains and wind hit then we went inside and my friends and I ordered pizza to be delivered from our bathroom :D When the storm ended it was delivered, and the pizza hut made it during the storm, so it was warm and wonderful.

I live in the ally and I've never seen one, don't ever want to experience one, but I would like to see one very far away. I've seen huge dust devils though. It makes me sad that when people watch older films and they see some type of special effects immediately they think “CG”. Before computers were a thing if you wanted special effects you had to use various methods of: blue and green screen, Stop motion creatures, Costumes, Makeup and prostechiscs, Camera effects, among various other techniques. The effects used for The Birds was a mix of real birds, animatronics, and fakes and Ub Iwerks who had worked with Disney for a long time received an Academy Award for his work on the film!

As someone who has always lived where tornadoes are frequent (we call them 'tornado alleys'), I've had to run to my former neighbor's storm shelter more than once due to them. Most people around me are used to them, but since I live in a flimsy single-wide trailer, I'll be done for if I'm not prepared and happen to be unlucky, so I guess I am scared of them. Especially since I no longer live by someone with a storm shelter. Just last year, my sister had a tree fall on her house, due to straight-lined winds on one tornado-infested day, right above where she was sleeping. The roof didn't fully collapse, so she was okay. They ended up using a tarp to block out the rain from the hole it left, but, between the mushrooms growing in the bathroom, the heater malfunctioning, and the stove dying, all they can do is save up for a new place. They can't fix the roof or anything else in the meantime, and they refuse to stay with me because they don't want to inconvenience my housemate. It's a bad situation.
