U can also import your own samples. I have this machine & U can create any genre using it's internal tweakability. Has 4 outputs for 4 separate digital & analogue internal beat/synth sounds.

I’m curious, what don’t you like about the design? Sure it’s not the perfect drum machine, the DR 880 has that honor in my opinion! I like the open source oscillator, I have the Monlouge XD as well and think they are both good designs? After a rethink of my statement, they both need more onboard memory and I wish every single piece of gear had an SD slot. Unfortunately that complaint applies to everyone though! Nice use of the ratcheting! This guy is good enough, he could do it for a living! lol, really, you know how to use this machine! Peace

For someone who actually has a high dislike for drum machine sounds this thing has something a bit different to it. It’s no Analog Rytm but it has a character (and it’s not a tinfoil character like the Roland 8s)

I’ve had loads of drum machines over the years and this is by far the worst sounding out there. The kicks are really weak and the snares don’t have any real presence . I was hoping korg would have done a bigger korg volca drum ,that product beats this for sound and uniqueness .
