The instructions I wrote for myself and read back during the video are here:
Remember, Windows volume was only at 54% out of 100. And hard-panned Left. Synth making whoosh noise, strange noise, fix, korg dw, 6000.
To load in Korg sounds:Plug Aux from Front panel Headphone jack into Korg's From Tape input (ENABLE) Write (ENABLE)To Clear... Hit Cancel... Screen will say "TAPE"Start mp3 playback... Around 5-15 seconds in, hit "Load" button... Numbers will start to count from 1,2,3,4, rapidly in Neon green colored LED while it loads sounds... then "Good" will show on screen. Then you're done!!! Flip both above switches to (DISABLE).RememberAudio output from computer is Hard-panned left in 3 places:1. Realtek i.e. "Sound" page from Settings,2." Sound" page-- Output section-- Device Properties -- Speakers--Balance3. DarkAudacity -- Mixer at 0.0 db PANNED LEFTVolume on computer = 54 (i.e. Volume icon on bottom of Start Page menu)Volume on windows media player = 100%Make sure input is set to "High" on back of Korg.*Unlikely, but possible detail: If doesn't work, Try setting Windows Media Player volume to 75% out of 100.

Cool stuff. I considered loading patches onto my DW6000 like this but was concerned about getting things right such as volume and timing of the "tape" recording. Well you proved that it isn't that difficult. You made it look so easy that I feel silly for having the concerns I had. I'll definitely keep this in mind in the future. I have a DW8000 sitting around that needs to be fixed and reprogrammed. When I get to putting the patches back on, I'll certainly try the "tape" method. Thanks for the video

This took some trial and error to cook up these instructions... But glad to help you out. Seems like my unit's battery will get drained if I extensively use the functions and menu inputs, then I have to reload the patches. Letting it sit with power on for a while also charges up the battery again. One day I will likely have to replace the battery completely. I should probably crack the thing open at some point to check for corrosion. Happy to help though.

Hopefully there isn't any corrosion on yours. My DW6000 did, but I have changed a bunch of batteries in old synths and rarely come across that problem
