You're right, there ain't many videos or discussions on folk using Korg Gadget 3 on Mac, i've looked for video's to get an idea of what people think of it on the Mac compared to iOS, i'm about to pull the trigger as it's on sale as I find it so quick on iOS, I think having access to my samples on the Mac in gadgets like abu dhabi, bilbao, vancouver would be great, I do hope they open Gadget to allow us to use 3rd party plugins directly in Gadget in the future though, I still want to use Omnisphere and Massive without going to another DAW.

A big issue is also that you don't get all your Module Pro expansions in your Mac version. So you paid a load of money for example the Oasys pianos, string libraries and so on and they are limited to the iOS version. Some of the gadgets have a lot of patches in the Mac version, even banks you need to purchase, but not Glasgow or the pianos for example.

yeah the interoperability leaves a lot to be desired

Totally agree. They Nickel and Dime the shit out of you on iPad as well. I bought the full version on ipad/iphone and also the Nintendo Switch version. The ipad paid version is missing a bunch of synths that you get with the switch version and vice versa. It's very dumb. The lack of consistency makes it seem like they didn't really care about the program to begin with. Some of the ui stuff on the iphone version is really bad, the effects section is so microscopic its very difficult to adjust parameters. I hope the next version is better because there is a lot to like about the program so far.
