Just subscribed...may I get right to the point, though? I sure wish someone would devote a little time to the DRUM PATTERNS on the Kronos. They're an important reason that I'm about to spend the money & buy the Kronos, but even the manual, (not to mention all the tutorials on line) barely touches on the fact that being able to grab THE pattern that works for live performance is really a practical concern for a lot of working pros out there in solo, duo & other small, live formats. Korg designers assigning a drum pattern to the drum track of a program or combi & just figuring it's gonna be THE ONE? It's taking a lot for granted & they barely tell you where to find them & how to move them around easily. Thanks!!

Thank you, I figured out some way that works for me. If I want to add new samples I first clear the RAM to make sure everything is empty andn then manually load my existing KSC into ram and then add my new samples to RAM as well, so that they are in the right banks, beneath the existing ones. Then I save a new KSC with a new name, containing the new samples. Now I can delete the old one and rename the new one to the old one's name, so that my programs recognize the KSC. Quite complicated. Thanks

Judging by the re-sample graphic, it looks like Korg used sampling technology from the Vibe. Good sampling video.

Hi KrixPrix In order to load the samples when you boot up, firstly go to GLOBAL mode. Then go to KSC Auto-Load page. Check the box on the left which contain the samples you want to load when boot up. Then turn OFF power. Once again turn on power and you are ready with the samples loaded. :)

Hi Francis. Probably you may have to load only those samples you need coz as you mentioned it overload when booting up.

Hi Francis. Eventhough you have created the samples and saved as program, you may have to reload sample (You have to save 1. Save Sample. 2. Save PCG. 3 Save SNG) So when you boot up, you may have to load again these files.

Can I sample a sound from another instrument into the Kronos? For instance I love the 'ALL STOPS' organ sound in my Kurzweil and would like to put that sound into the Kronos.

Hi. Great video. On the "Sample Edit" and "Loop Edit" page, is there any way to scrub through the sampled waveform, or some kind of rolling playhead that shows which part of the waveform is being played? Specifically I'm wanting to find where to end my waveform with as little guess work. Finding a start point is a tiny bit of guess work, although very easy. However, finding an end point in a little more complicated waveform has me having to listen to the whole waveform (or at least wherever I add the start point) in order to get to the end point. I would like to know from someone who have done a lot of sampling stuff, that how many samples per octave requires to avoid tonal interval break down between the notes?

Hi KrixPrix This is a lil tricky. All the samples that you sampled/load are called samples like WAV/AIFF etc. These has to assigned to MULTISAMPLE so that you can arrange and map it in the respective keys. When you save those mapped samples in multisamples are called KSC. However if you keep adding new samples and re create new Multisamples, you may have to save a new file. Then delete those file that was previously saved. Hope this is good :)

How do samples sound using the mic and your phone ? I am asking because the Kronos is not compatible with android phones when attempting to sample with the phone hooked up to the keyboard. Maybe the mic is another option. What do you think bro?

Thanks for your fast reply.I made a KSC with my sound sample I created. But what if I over time have like 50 samplesets with a linkes program. I know that I can make a KSC from the loaded files contaings more than one complete multisample set. But how can I just edit one CustomSamples.KSC for example which contains all my sampling data. If I sample something new, how do I add that to this KSC?

If you created a multisample this way, Is it the only way to store it permanently to convert it to a program?, What if I want to use that created multisample on another program by changing only that new program's OSC multisample?

if I switch off my kronos and restart it, all my programs i created from the samples are not working. It says samples not loaded I saved them to the ssd, but how do I tell kronos to load those when it boots up?

Dynamite Kid Both are great. But ask yourself if do u need the features of those workstation. Ar eu sampling, are u recording onboard.
