I bought this pack and I can't work out how to get it into the sound library alongside my existing presets. It just opens as a different library (I am using a Mac). I don't want to lose the presets I have spent hours working on. The pdf instruction booklet doesn't make sense because there are no individual patches to drag and drop - just an separate library list

Sorry to hear you are having problems. I personally don’t think the librarian is that great. If you open the download file then it should start the library which will show the presets you have bought. If you click on a preset it should then go to your XD. It won’t replace that preset it has went to unless you write it from the hardware. Do you need to know what you are willing to replace in your own library or if you have empty presets. So you could select an empty preset eg. 250 on your XD, then select one of the Exosphere presets which will now show up on the XD. You can then write it from the XD to save it in that slot. I would always back up my library before adding anything to it as if you send the whole preset pack it would send all 50 of the Exosphere presets and the rest would be the empty presets. So it would overwrite your library. The KZbin link I included in the PDF will show you how to do this. I prefer moving them in one at a time and saving from the hardware, but that’s just me. Hope this helps.

Yeah, neither librarian is good, but the Mac version is notably crap. I switched to my Windows PC to load patches into mine, much easier and hassle free.

Nice! Do any/many of these also come with pre-programmed sequencer data? That’s one of my favorite things about the stock factory presets.

Are you using the vpn osc for that first patch? Sounds very broken up like noise is being used as modulation (which obviously the XD can’t do).thank!

You need to download the Korg XD Librarian. The instructions are in the PDF that comes with the patches. I have also included a KZbin link in the PDF that shows you how to do it.
