@winterlover78 Using a USB cable to connect to the Apple Camera Connection Kit, Korg nanoSERIES2 controllers can be used with the iPad, without an external power supply. Korg provides a free iPad App for GarageBand on their website. There currently is no app for the iPod.

@Notorious51G All 3 of these send MIDI information over the USB port that you can record on your computer using a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) and then play back. I used it with Apple's Logic software for the video and it worked great, but you can use the DAW of your choice on Mac or PC.

The TC Helicon device cannot host the Korg nanoKEY2 Midi controller. The Korg is designed to connect to a computer or to an iPad via Apple's iPad Camera Connection Kit (not included), providing MIDI control using Apple Core MIDI features. @phantomthug777 Try lowering the latency settings in your software preferences. That should get you better response times. If you get clicks and pops in your audio then you have the settings too low. I usually lower the latency settings when I am playing and recording and then raise them up again when its mixing time and I don't need the fastest responses.

The Korg nano SERIES 2 is compatible with a wide variety of Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs). In this video, we demonstrate its use with Ableton and Logic, two of the most popular programs for music production. Logic is only available for MacOS, but Ableton is available for both MacOS and Windows. Other popular options include Pro Tools, Cubase, Digital Performer, FL Studio, and Reaper.

It is a midi instrument. It has no sounds inside of it. It works with Digital Audio Workstations like Ableton, or Reason. It is possible to record with this thing, but only midi. Unless you wanna take a mic and record click n clacks. lol.
