NanoKontrol Studio VS NanoKontrol 2 VS the Platform M+ control surface review

Yes, some good points, most of which I share. 6:45 I think there's definitely a compelling point for at least one manufacturer such as Korg to release a 16 channel controller with 45 or 60mm faders (as they did with their earlier digital multitrack D1600) which could be portable as well as sit on top of a large keyboard for live gigs. A revision of the NK Studio could see additional faders where the jog wheel is... and the jog wheel could go where the make and model print are on the top left. Useful for gigging musicians with a laptop or sound module who don't require a separate mixer.

Some people use MIDI control surfaces to control lighting during live shows. A 16 channels control surface with 60mm faders would probably work just fine for lighting and not take up much space.

@@TechTVusa Yes, a lot of the lighting consoles I've seen have two rows of faders and are still ok for size.

Have you tried putting the Korg Nanokontrol Studio on an angled support behind your keyboard? That might overcome the issue with the knobs getting in the way of the buttons.
