@@JuliusDeBerryJr The only thing I can think of to ask right now is if a guy could export a SNG (sequence) file from a Kronos and import it into a Nautilus. I may have missed it if you’ve talked about it before, or if you’ve experimented with that. Just curious! Anyway, keep up the awesome videos. I’m learning a lot. 👨🎓 😉

I believe the sequencer files will work. For some reason it seems like I was able to load sequence data from my Triton classic (the first one 🤣🤣🤣) into my Kronos. Of course the programs were different so there were some adjustments needed but it read the information.

Just acquired a Nautilus AT yesterday. Seems like your videos are going to be a mainstay in learning this keyboard. Question: can you perform the same routing function demonstrated in this video on a Zoom Live Trak 12? Would you be using mono tracks or combo of mono and stereo? Previously with other keyboards always used 9/10 and 11/12 stereo channels.

I hope there's a way to play backing wav tracks through 1/2 + 3/4 for live performances instead of using a sampling pad like Roland SPD SX
@JuliusDeBerryJr2 жыл бұрын
Wave tracks that are imported into the keyboard? You may have to treat them like samples. But I believe one of the guys has a video about triggering a sample using using the drum track feature.

Do you know when it's best to use the mono-mono effects? I rarely hear it mentioned.
@JuliusDeBerryJr2 жыл бұрын
If you are monitoring/sending to FOH in a mono environment, I'd think that would be the best time to use it. I can't imagine stereo effects sounding great in mono... But I've not tried it much at all.

Another great video...Are these routing options global or for every individul patch? I would like my Nord to go into input 1&2 and output to Atl 3&4.
@JuliusDeBerryJr2 жыл бұрын
It would be every individual patch that you make. You'd have to program it PER PATCH. But if you make alot of sounds, you could create a template (with the routing in olace) and then build your sounds based on that template. That would save some time.

Hi Julius, when I route to 1,2,3,4 the main fader doesnt' work anymore. Any idea on how to change that?
@JuliusDeBerryJr Жыл бұрын
Hey what's up! Yeah you routed all the audio AWAY from the main LR. So no audio is coming out of it anymore. That's why it appears that the fader doesn't work. Change something back to LR and if will function normally again. Hope this helps. Stay connected!
@roycrooijmans Жыл бұрын
@@JuliusDeBerryJr can you use the fader to control 1234 as well?
@JuliusDeBerryJr Жыл бұрын
Not that I know of. The fader is routed to main LR. You could connect a mixer to the Nautilus and connect 1234 to individual channels on the mixer then user the faders on the mixer for volume control of those channels. .
@icepiano112 жыл бұрын
Can you still control the volume from the keyboard when routing? In other words if I 2 stereo di boxes (1 for mains the other for aux) will I still be able to control the volume for the keyboard
@JuliusDeBerryJr2 жыл бұрын
Within the realm of a combi, yes you will still have control of the volume. And the knobs/ or faders (on the Kontrol) will still have control. Output is just going out of the additional outputs.

I split the keyboard into piano and bass, and I routed bass to output 1, directly to my bass amp. The volume is very low, despite volume registering 127. This was not a problem on my Kronos, since I had the volume slider. What is going on?
@JuliusDeBerryJr Жыл бұрын
It doesn't have anything to do with the volume slider (I wouldn't think). If it is, you can still adjust the volume in the same manner as any other combi instrument/part. Did you check the IFX being programmed (that's been a long time difference with Korg combos vs program mode. ....once the sound is added to a combi, the IFX Don't automatically transfer over so they sound "changes".
@didiermaillard5157 Жыл бұрын
Hi, Julius ! Maybe you can help me....I didn’t found the say to control the "send" , for each track, towards the IFX ( 0 to 127). Is it possible ? Thanks !
@JuliusDeBerryJr Жыл бұрын
Not sure what you are trying to say
@didiermaillard5157 Жыл бұрын
@@JuliusDeBerryJr it’s due to my poor english ;-). When I prepare a combi, i want to apply different amount of one ifx (for example reverb) to my tracks/timbres. Just like on a mixing desk (more reverb on the organ, less reverb on the piano), but I only see the way to send the ifx to the mfx or the L/R.
@JuliusDeBerryJr Жыл бұрын
Yeah no worries about your English, we will get on the same page. 😊
@JuliusDeBerryJr Жыл бұрын
Ok. I gotcha. I don't think you can send different amounts of the same reverb to various sources. I don't think the sends are set up like that. They may be but I've never used them in that way. The easiest solution would be to just use up multiple IFX slots and just set up a different reverb for each one. I'll look into the capability of the sends and get back with you tomorrow. It's almost 1am here now. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾. Thanks again for watching. Take care and stay connected.
