ive had one of these for a few years now...i am honestly just an amateur home guitarist..... this px4d has made home jamming soo much fun..... it has stuff on it i have not a clue how to work...but good for playing over loops... sounds good thru my small fender champ 66 valve amp too....

I have one of these units. Never really used it though now I will. I enjoyed even more the pleasure of listening to this killer guitar player as well as hearing all the features this unit has. You ROCk

I have the original PX4 and I LOVE it! there are sooo many things you can do with it. The best part is that I have the Vox AD60VT and it's the same setup on the amp.. so I can practice with headphones and the px4 and then do the same thing loud!

Cool piece of kit and what a fantastic guitarist.

Yes, you just need a stereo cable, plug it into the line in and you'll have a "micked amp"-like sound. The cabinet modeling makes it sound great in a PA or direct recording, unlike many regular stompbox.

An extraordinarily competent musician you are; Session ready for any style. Meanwhile the reason you're here is to help Korg get on the board - -( the Korg board if you will.) Boss and Line 6 products have for years been dancing with sugar plums with ALL the attention. Here's Korg with product which (in my estimation) quietly supersedes almost every other brand name going for features and usability. I've owned a couple of keyboards by them and still use the Pandora mini to late nite guitar jam with Mark knopfler or Stevie Ray from my earbud out on my computer. Now you got me tempted to buy this model. ('Must resist.) Thanks for a job well done.j

Yeah, that's the cooler feature! Check out my other videos with PX4D, most of them I use the looper JAM mode. This is killer, I can't live without it anymore. It helps you to develop riffs, ideas or even develop better improvisation skills. Also you can record a 32 second phrase from a mp3 (conected to pandora in stereo) and use it as Backing Track, or even slow down the tempo, alowing you to understand fast licks... that's cool!

@chickabuka you can run it through normal speakers, monitors and so and it will sound like sounds on the video... it has amp/cabinet simulation, so it sounds like a mic-ed amp!

Hey ivnvir.. thanks for the demo video! You helped me made my decision to buy one of these =)

I've heard folks use it with a speaker simulator (palmer) and it sounds and feels insane. Going through a tube pre amp should also jack it up nicely. Any type of power (amp/p.a./stereo) is an improvement over going direct to headphones. If you could only have 1 piece of equipment to go with your electric ( I got mine used for $70) it can't be beat.

Nice playing! I dig my px4d, like that I can use it for my bass, too. I laughed when you couldn't keep it from sliding, I have the same problem.

I am using a Peavey VYPYR 30. It also has everything but the Pandora PX4D seems easier to use. If I change to the Pandora do I keep my Peavey modeling Amp or what Amp should I buy to compliment the Pandora? I play Blues out of a Ibanex Artcore AS 73 with Humbuckers. BobMKE

Yeah, of course ;) And sounds awesome. Plugging a headphone on an amp gives you (most of amps) a raw sound, with a lot of buzz, almost unusable. The PX4D emulates the microphoneted sound of an amp (like its recorded in studio) giving you a very decent sound.

good fingers you've got, man.Good playing

I do have both. Most of Pocket POD's simulations are better, but Pandora is extremelly funny, so I use both. I just bought the PX5D (the new version of Px4D). That's the best shit for the money, for sure!

can it be used as like a preamp and plug it straight into the pc to record stuff?

Do you think this has a good sound for live shows when it comes to different distortions/clean tones through a solid state?? If so can you please tell me where i can get it and how much it is?? thanks..
@ivnvir17 жыл бұрын
A regular mono cable would work too, but the effects are stereo, so you may loose some sound...

How do you remove the bass accompaniment from the rhythms?
@ivnvir10 жыл бұрын
Navigate through the rythm section until you reach the bass key selection, then you just hit enter, turning it off.
@Maryonpark10 жыл бұрын
OK, great. Thanks for that. :)

Great playing. I have one of these, so it was funny watching him try to stop it from sliding all over the place, that bugs me -- really sucky plug layout/balance, I'd rather see opposite-side input-ouput plugs. Still an awesome machine for the money, and the fact that it works with bass is just invaluable.

just so everyone knows- when he talks of adjusting the bass keys? or the key of the song... he is not engaging the actual "BASS" sound this device provides fo you... what the key change is for, is there is an actual bass that will jam along with you and you can change the key of that sound of course. as you notice when he did this, he was thinking it was just the key of the drums?? or guitar?? or something. but it is for the bass that can be engaged and it just wasn't in this video.
