Korg Radias Demo Songs - Specifications - Home Recording Studio

In this video I play back the factory built-in demo songs, of which there are four of. I love the Radias, perhaps my favorite of all my synths! In the video I also annotate with in my opinion the Radias most appealing features (specifications and abilities).

I love these VA synths from the noughties, especially in rack/desktop format. Great polyphony, multi-timbral, multi-FX, great programming depth, great sound etc. I tried to get hold of a Radias a few years back but couldn't get one (I ended up with a Virus C which is excellent too). I guess people hang on to them! I wish Korg et al would release new models - think what they could do and sound like with newer tech! I've had a few analog synths too over the decades but now vendors seem to think that analog's the only game in town - unless it's FM that is, which is fine by me.

VERY similar synth kit taste to me! D550, M1REX, EX5-R, K5000R, SY99 (x3!!), SY77, Radias (of course 😎🤘), MS2000BR, AN1x, also have FZ-10m Casio sampler c/w analogue filter 👍🏼, JD-990/800, SA-WSA1/R ... Better stop there in case the wife reads this and starts to tot this haul up 😉🍻 ...

I'm getting the Radias delivered next week ..I bought an M3 keyboard not realising I need the famous KKS Ma-T tray which has been discontinued

Sorry I would tell you if I could, however I bought the Radias used just like that and I did not ask where the dial it was obtained from.

Hmm how useful is using the audio input as a waveform? Is this just letting you use the filters or is it deeper than that?

I have not had time to investigate thoroughly, but it may only be using filters.

I just created a brief on Advanced Tone Generation with the Korg Radias, including the "secret" third sub oscillator and wave folding capabilities, organized mostly in a few tables to allow a sound designer to quickly see what is possible. dkdivedude.com/?p=219
