Has anyone experience with this as a MIDI-Controller throug DAW? Is it a good idea. The Yamaha CP88 seems to work well as a MIDI Controller

Is it possible to you use the inbuilt speakers as monitors in a live situation? I mean, it would be super useful, if you were able to route ONLY the monitor mix (via Input L/R) to those speakers...

@@abzee733 in a shop some weeks ago the speakers were not that impressive and in my opinion way too expensive for what you get. For home use I would prefer some monitors and for use on stage its nothing compared to and old Yamaha cp with speakers you can actually use.

None of these demos puts it up against a live band with drums bass and guitar.Will it cut the mustard and cut through the other instruments.All these airy fairy sounds are typical demos.If its a stage keyboard lets hear it as such,at least that way we get some idea of its capabilities.

That’s a good question but my guess is that it will work in any setting, as a piano for classical piano repertoire.

My keyboardist played on a SV1 for years, never had an issue cutting through the full band mix. I would assume the newer model wouldn't either.
