Very inspiring! I took the time to slow down the video to be able to mimic your sequence and settings, but still couldn't quite reproduice your sound. I'm somewhat new to Volca bass and I hand't realized that the first sequence had been recorded separately and was being looped in the back. So I grabbed my loop pedal and finally was able to reproduce it. Thank you for the challenge!

SAME. I kinda hate my volca bass but this makes me think it's not totally useless. I hate most of the sounds it makes. I think the bass sucks for actual short bass notes but it sounds great droning here. Wonderful performance

Do not get fulled by the size and simplicity, this is one of my fav table synths. You can get much more than bass out of it, 6 octaves of saw/square. I like to process it through my Minilogue delay.

Best demo I've seen so far. I was iffy about this volca... until now. Maybe the delay helped (monotron, prehaps?), but sounds really bad ass. And played like bass should be played. Love it.

Monotron delay works nice, a kaosspad (like 1 or mini) does it too. more fun than a pedal. Otherwise do it in your DAW

@soehngenetic Жыл бұрын
Why "without cables"? - Have a closer look to the top right of the unit and you will recognize a cable in the headphone/output jack. That's where audio is sent out of any Volca unit. As he uses just the Volca Bass and the internal sequencer, recording several tracks out to his DAW one after another, he doesn't need any MIDI or sync connections.
