I love Jordan's persona so much. Every single video is like a little gem, and he is so open, relaxed and welcoming of a guy. I almost cry cause I can feel the passion dripping off of him as he plays and talks about the sounds and music in general. Great and down to earth guy that I would really like to do music with.

I really appreciate what he said about using Mainstage. I thought I was the only one that felt that way. I have a lot of respect for people who use it, but it's not the same. The people I know who use Mainstage or other products like it, never appreciate or master their instrument. As a musician, it's very rewarding when you master an instrument and can really make it sing! I've been using the Korg Krome for years and just added the Korg Grandstage to my set up. People are always amazed at the sound I'm able to produce live without a computer doing the work for me. It's fun, it's rewarding, and it connects you to your instrument.

+Daryl Phillips You are right of course, but also wrong. The love we share for music and playing is what keep us going, and even being just average, mediocre keyboardists we can have fun with music just as Jordan Rudess and the rest. You don´t have to be a pro to enjoy and feel. Music is for everybody. But it is extremely inspiring listen to the king of keyboards.

Henrik Seglem Grydeland you also wrong ... when I first played and heard someone fast playing I was like oowww he is fast but when I grow more sense it was not about the one that plays the fastest playing music is emotions and emotions are colours of life not speed so look at numbers which leaves deep impressions..actually they are quite simple in nature everyone I hear rude playing I actually don't know what he is trying to accomplish it sounds like I was young and just hitting something fast but this is my opinion and Marco parisi I can agree he has feeling he is an artistic player feels nice to listen to him playing.

I agree. The most expensive keyboard out there is nothing if you compare it to the classic synths. It might have nice sounds and useful functions but the sound that comes from a Moog is ALIVE ...

I wish those wav sequence sounds were available for guitars. The acoustic guitars are the weak point of Kronos. Montage does guitars that sound real. I don't know how they do it.
@varunkamal913 жыл бұрын
Kronos grand piano also sounds weak and plastic like cheap to me compared to the Nord, Yamaha Motif or even an arranger board like Yamaha Genos.
@basspig3 жыл бұрын
@@varunkamal91 That's ironic, because the best part of the KRONOS 2 is the Berlin grand. It's the most realistic recreation of an acoustic piano that I've ever heard. It sounds closest to my daughter's teacher's 1939 Baldwin grand. Albeit, the quality of the piano they sampled was pretty mediocre. Other pianos just scream "MIDI!" when I hear them. But the KRONOS 2 piano sounds and plays like an acoustic. If the guitars and woodwinds were on this level, KRONOS would be the ultimate keyboard.
@varunkamal913 жыл бұрын
@@basspig I've heard your opinion before for sure. I guess that's why different keyboards sell... Different ears... Different opinions..
@basspig3 жыл бұрын
@@varunkamal91 Some of these other keyboards may sit nicely in the mix of a rock song, but for solo piano, the KRONOS 2 is the closest thing to an acoustic that I've heard. Put the pedal down and play a chord. Hear how the notes have a natural organic and ever changing enharmonicity. Even my Kurzweil K2600RS doesn't sound like that, and that was my favorite piano before this. I've owned the Montage for about a month, and absolutely loved the guitar and woodwinds on that keyboard, but the pianos just sounded to "MIDI" to my ears. I got bored of playing the piano on the Montage because it was too monotonous sounding. Same thing with my Roland Integra 7. And my Yamaha Motif Rack XS. Can't stand those pianos. I always come back to the KRONOS and it's like playing the acoustic grand that I'm familiar with. I just wish they'd sampled a Steinway that was in great shape instead of whatever Beckstein or whatever with poorly adjusted felts.
