I saw Korn and Metallica way back in the day. Fieldy’s bass hung so lows he was bouncing it off the stage!! A lot of these songs reflect Jonathan Davis’s childhood, which would make a serious horror movie! I think these songs was very cathartic for him and the band. Great reaction as always!!!

One of my favorite Korn songs is a remake of a Cheech and Chong song called Earache my Eye. It’s a hidden track on the Follow the Leader album. I found it when I fell asleep listening to the album and waking up to this song.

The sound of this song is perfect in all ways, one of their bests no doubt and forever in my top 10 by them. Absolutely great. Because you love the sound of Fieldy's bass, I think any of the Take a look in the mirror songs was good for you, like Did my time or Y'all want a single (Right now too, but the lyrics in their video isn't the official, they changed it because the censorship), or another of their bests: Got the life.

korn always had a very beautiful contrasts between light and dark and have a good surfer california sound korn always had a very rich and full sounds whatever sounds that made sense to them such a funky and heavy the Fieldy's bass is very prominant has a thick sound and that is one aspect and the fact that no one else sounded llike them they were so creative lyrically compositions and conceptually

There was a lot of abuse in vocalist Jonathan Davis' life growing up... coming from a broken home. KoRn actually debuted this single in 1999 (from the 'Issues' album) by appearing animated on an episode of 'South Park' 😂 They made it like an episode of 'Scooby-Doo' and bassist Fieldy was made to look like 'Thelma' 😂

Korn's music usually has that effect. As a kid, Jonathon Davis suffered from a lot of abuse at the hands of his father unfortunately including sexual assault. A lot of the distressing themes in Korn's music are his way of dealing with all the shit he's dealt with. Very powerful music.

That is point its about domestic voilence like more you listen to Korn more you get Davis really was abused as a child and had a horrible childhood. Its why their music did so good, like I heard it in 90s, back then people still ignored it. My dad would take me out back and taunt me, as he beat me up, and neighbors would just turn on vacumes to drain it all out. Like wasn't till late 2000s they made it a state law they got investigate all DV claims, then DA gets call to press charges or not. But before that if kid was scarred to testifiy you could 100% get away with it. Unless some one had like 20 lb camcorder on their shoulder worth crap ton of money and was recording you do it, you were in clear and cops wouldnt' do much. Like my dad made sure to never leave marks where it could be seen at school. Allways the torso, back, once he got bored with spanking me. Like in 4th grade I got in a fight, and nurse reported I had bruises on my back and principal when talking to both of us in front of our dads was like "so why did you hit him in the back while he was down?" And kid was like "I WOULD NEVER DO THAT!" And my dad reacted way too much, and got me to say "nope he must done it, how else would it get there..." and from that day on I had principal acting like a budy asking me a dozen questions a week trying to get me to come forward but I was undiagnosed autistic so never realized it. Plus like most i was convinced no one would beleive me, and they would side with him. Like one time he even handed me the cordless phone in like 2001 dared me to call the cops and told me they would arrest me for filing false report. Like Korn really helped a lot of kids and teens in 90s... We felt all alone till we had that music.

If you want to hear something that is not sick but beautiful, you should listen to "The Wallflowers" in one of the best songs I have heard in a long time "One Headlight". The lead singer is the sun of David Bovie, Jacob Bovie. He has the same special voise as his dad. The band is called the most underrated band from the 90's. I would love to se your reaction to it, and I'm sure that you will love it. Another thing about it - I know that you love some guitar playing, IT HAS A VERY DESTINGT GUITAR all the way through.
