This was the first concert I ever went to, the best one of my life. I was 18 y.o. at the time. Had a great night. Lost my left shoe while surfing the crowd to Danzig later that night. Lol

@@desert_iron_123 Yes they did a tour with Megadeth and Fear Factory was on it as well. I believe it was a summer tour and according to Dino from FF it was so hot that Munky and Jon would pour water on their dreads to cool off in between songs. Because of that, water would end up on the stage floor and one day Dave Mustaine walked out and slipped. After this no one was allowed to have water on stage

I was at this show!! It was my 26th birthday!!! I was right up front in the middle. Shook Glenn Danzig's hand. Was surprised when he jumped off the stage behind the barrier how much taller I was than him...lol. I had forgotten how great this show was!! Many great memories with great friends that, some that are nolonger with us.

They were an established professional touring band by this time, but I know what you are saying. There are some shows on KZbin from only a year earlier where they are nowhere near this tight and polished. What a difference a day makes!!!

The best kind of Korn!!! I never saw them live until 2000 in the UK, but to go back to see them touring for the first two records, or even on Family Values would be what I would do if I had a time machine! Probably the Life is Peachy cycle would be where I woud go first, then Family Values and Follow the Leader touring, and then first album. I've seen them a shit load since 2000, so I'd be happy if my time machine helped me do all that stuff from the Raw Old school Korn days. No camera phones either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hear ya, I saw them twice in 95. First show was at a tiny club in Boston called Axis which is long gone and they had Sugar Ray open for them. And btw Sugar Ray was playing metal back then, no DJ! Different era. Korn blew one of the PA speakers with all the bass.

@@Faks.09 Actually, he hates nu metal but he loves KoRn which I completely understand because I, for the most part, feel the same way even though I'm a pretty big nu metal fan and love all those bands. For me personally, I liked the first wave of Nu metal, bands like KoRn, Snot, and Coal Chamber. The 2nd wave which was bands like Linkin Park, Papa Roach, and Staind I didn't care for those bands as much!

Great footage! I wasn't at this show but i saw them for the first time in Nov. '95 in Cleveland. Little club called the Odean. Sold out show & fucking amazing. Can't remember which bands opened for them now. Maybe Orange 9mm & Downset, but i think i may be confusing that with a Deftones tour early in '96.

@@bobbyboucher1855 Head only used speed full time for like the last 2 or 3 years of his first run in KoRn. He had to hide it in ingenious spots in his luggage as they went to countries where bringing in narcotics carries the death penalty. But yes, they all used speed off and on during the first few records and would normally put it down right before leaving on tour for a few months.

My second favorite concert behind this one was seeing Type O Negative for the first time at Blue Cats in Knoxville on Halloween night just shortly before, sadly the the lead singer of Type O died. They were my favorite band at that time and still are in my top 3. My favorite band right now are Chaimaira. They are badass in concert too, btw.

In April of 95 my friend who was the guitarist for the band Fight {Rob Halford}. Brought me to see Marilyn Manson, Korn and Danzig. He was good friends with the Korn guys as they had toured together. It was the true hang out back stage experience, all access. My friend later joined both MM and Danzig's bands. Can you figure out who it is?

There was maybe 30 people in the crowd when they went on and everyone was just standing around trying to figure out what it was. 30 years later there might be some music nerd who was there who would say that they know but trust me no one got it.
