For real. Totally sucks, he’s gonna be alright I think though. I hope so at least and hopefully the symptoms fade away. It’s typically while going through it when it’s the most dangerous from what it seems. Then again it’s so soon to even know anything about long term effects. They could be brutal though that I do know. I’m dealing with after effects also and it’s been like 6 months, I commend him for going on stage to perform cause it really does cause some serious fatigue/shortness of breath. @@HeadlessTony this shit is really sneaky. I had it in March, and it didn't seem to me to be any more severe than a normal acute respiratory infection - quite a high fever, a headache, and no sense of smell. It seemed like no big deal. I sat under a blanket for two weeks and watched Buffy. But when I recovered and went back to work, I noticed that I was having a harder time - I couldn't concentrate, I couldn't plan my actions, I was doing the wrong thing, and then I couldn't even explain to myself why I had done that. When I write something, I can mix up the letters and write some random crap. I found it difficult to fall asleep, and I started having very strange dreams, after which I woke up in a cold sweat. My anxiety increased. After a month and a half I lost my job, because I could no longer cope with it. Also, when it got warmer and I started to spend more time outside again, I noticed that I started to choke when I was just walking to the store or up the stairs, and my heart wanted to jump out of my chest. It is already known that COVID has effects not only on the lungs but also on the brain. I can only hope that the effects are not permanent, because my quality of life has clearly declined. I literally started to feel like an old man at 28.

I would never advise anyone to get vaccinated or not, just to do your homework and have a good conversation with your doctor. Weigh your options with the latest information available. You stating that once you've had it you are immune forever cannot be declared with certainty. Ultimately, though, it's a personal/private matter between the individual and their doctor and govt should stay out of it 100%. On that I think we agree. Peace.

@@themechaniacal1558 - The government should not stay out of matters of public health. That’s why we have the CDC and the WHO. @@kingtrance6826 I understand that. I am not talking about education I am referring to mandates. Their seamless mixture of metal and rap is unprecedented, no other nu metal band I’ve listened to is better. Rap and metal are my two favorite music genres, and Korn mixes them together effortlessly and effectively, not something a lot of bands can do.

Korn was a bucketlist dream for me to see since a kid. Since basically the day that song came out I've wanted to hear it played live, not even a huge Korn fan it was just a childhood fantasy. I got to see these guys a week before covid lockdowns went into effect, with Breaking Benjamin as an opener (another childhood dream to see live). It was so much better than I could have ever imagined. Listening to a band for a nostalgia factor, I wasn't expecting to be absolutely blown away... but I absolutely was. Once all this blows over, I will, for a fact, I guarantee it... I'll be seeing these guys again the first chance I get. As a person, it's hard to find anyone as dedicated and true as him. Whether you're a fan of the music or not, the dude is genuine and deserves every bit of love he's getting. Hope he eventually fully recovers...

JD has used O2 for awhile on stage during live shows in between songs that he keeps next to Ray's kit, meaning he ALREADY needs extra flow. But the fatigue from Covid is for real, and makes for a brutal night trying to sing intense songs. Covid also crosses the blood brain barrier and can effect mental health on top of the respiratory and immune systems. I respect his courage and determination, but wish he wouldn't push his body and mind and truly rest! If you really love JD you would want shows postponed right now.
