I was raped when I was 14, I went years without telling my parents. One day I was sitting in my room listing to self titled and daddy came on and finally broke down and told her. I relate to this band so much. I've seen them 20 times since 99. Went almost 6 years without a show because kid and stuff , saw them last week in Phoenix and it was like it was 99 again. So much soul and emotion in their music and JD is just as amazing as ever.

I didn't understand why I loved Korn so much as a teenager. People around me wrote them off as "Devil Music." They wrote me off as some Goth kid with a bad attitude. But the music spoke to my soul. As someone who was bullied, abused physically and sexually, I can say there's more to the draw of metal. They helped me survive some painful and dangerous times in my upbringing. I have found my faith, just like some members of the band. The holy spririt is real. Just because I was born into a terrible situation: it didn't mean I had to STAY THERE.

Childhood trauma hits us as adults for some reason. I never had problems untill I was an adult, and then bam. The trouble started. We have to look within ourselves, and self heal each problem one at a time. Even if it takes a while, u just have to keep on fighting, you will see that eventually if you work hard enough, you can truly heal and be better.

I loved to listen to Korn growing up as an abused teen. My older brother introduced me to this awesome band when I was a teenager. I felt so heard and related to by their songs. I felt validated in my pain through them. My older brother was also severely abused by the same family member that abused me. He helped me get out of that abusive household. He literally saved my life. He turned to alcohol and drugs to cope with his severe trauma and mental health issues. I lost him back in March of this year due to alcohol poisoning and my heart still hurts that he’s gone. He was only 39. I have his ashes with me now. I want to hold a memorial for him next weekend since it will be his 40th birthday. I’m going to play Korn in his memory. I love you Michael. I miss you every day. Korn will always be a band that gave me comfort during the hardest times of my life as a survivor of abuse.

Korn is a excellent band, I have been listening to their music since they first came out.. I just went to the 2019 concert last month and even though the lead singer Jonathan Davis is getting older he still rocks like he's 20 and to no disappointment he came out in his kilt and killed it..... Rock on guys...

Korn will forever and always be on my ipods in my cd books. At age 10 i was experiencing all this rock. Kid rock Limp slip knot godsmack and tons more is what my mother listen to. Sure i enjoyed all them but KORN and TYPE O NEGATIVE really sat in my stereo., now korn made me part of their cds made me feel like they were speaking to me. At age 12 i won untouchables off a radio station, i had to have my mother get it for me. To this day i have that cd un opened i mowed lawns to get another one so i could put it up. When i start feeling iffy and down i always put on Korn Or type o. Tbh at age 28 with not one tattoo Korn may be put on my skin as a reminder of the tough times it really helped me through Followed by Type O. I really cant wait for this new album to come out i just know John is going to put everything he has into it.

The music from this band helped me work through my own personal trauma and abuse as a youngster. Knowing that I wasn't alone no matter how lonely I felt, gave me strength to keep living and overcome the obstacles that my mind created. Korn and Linkin Park both helped me to fight through the anger, misery and self loathing that comes form being abused and being called a liar when you reach out for help. Its massive and destructive how kids seek for help from the people who say that's what they are there for, only for them to beat you down more and hand you over to the abuse again. I'm grateful they are still making music.

The thing for me with Fieldy and Head, is that I still genuinely don't feel a connection with any sort of organized religion, but their experiences of redemption and finding Christ/God/whatever it is for them (I don't mean this disrespectfully, I genuinely grew up non-religious and just am not familiar with how Christianity works) still give me chills. I may not get it, but they do, and their experiences in life are as real as mine. Truly inspirational stuff, even for a non-believer. Perhaps *especially* for a non-believer.

If you read Head's autobiography, Save Me From Myself, he talks about having sex with women who want to be choked and abused, and how wrong it felt...i can identify with that...its just something you go along with to get what you want, which may be much of life, doesn't make it right...quite honestly i'm ashamed of it, but i agree i was raised religious and taught that goodness is manifest in the human heart...we all know whats right and wrong, whether we read a book or not

The fact that they have for the most part remained together for almost 30 years is astounding. I saw them in Vegas for FTL20 and it’s amazing how they have matured their sound on every single album. It warms my heart to know that they have the Lord in their hearts, and it is so gratifying to Finally hear band members from an Awesome band like Korn say that you can be a Christian and Still Enjoy This Kind Of Music 🙂👍 I've been a devout Christian for most of my life but also a Korn, NIN, Nirvana, Rammstein ext. Fan 🙂 I hope they encourage more people and let people know you Dont have to only listen to Christian music to be a Christian 🙂🙂🙂🙂✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌

Love this band. Always related to their music even as a young kid growing up in a small town. My friends and I followed them through Arizona and western states back then. So much Monkey would recognize us and and hey its yall and say hi. After Head's books I decided to get help. My life was fally apart. From Phoenix to Big Spring TX Brian "Head" Welch was an inspiration and really did mean what he said. He didn't even know me but I took a shot in the dark and tried to contact him. He contacted me back and was the reason I continued on my journey to sobriety. We all fall and through my faith God picked me up. There are two heroes in my life. God my Savior and Brian "Head" Welch.

Sometimes the nicest people are dealing with the most horrible demons. I’m glad they grew up and helped each other and are still making music together. Even if they give up music as a career later, I hope they all stay friends into old age.

Is that why Korn's lyrics hit so hard? because it literally comes from the heart and the singer just screams his pains? Korn, hope you never die.

Those last three albums, Serenity Of Suffering, The Nothing, and Requiem, in my humble opinion, are the best they've ever done! I was one of those who learned about them when Freak On A Leash was the single. I was in 7th grade. For so long, I was worried that Untouchables would be their last good album. They're back and better than ever!!!!

@@dr.spencerreid2991 I was in that front row at 12:12 in Vaughan Ontario. Canada's wonderland. lollapolloza 97. Tool was there as well. I've been to over 100 concerts. But that show was legendary and nothing since has ever come close. I've seen Korn 3 times. But that set was completely unreal and the whole place was jumping. Energy like you would not believe.

Missing a lot of stuff Stuff like The song “kill you “ on they’re second album life is peachy was another emotional song that make Jonathan and his band, band crew and friends cry See you on the other side was the first korn album to not have head Untitled album both have David and head not on it 2008 Jonathan almost died from a blood disease. There was some kind of drama between korn and head when head made his book save me from myself
