This is my favorite KoRn album. You just simply don’t like the band which is fine. You just can’t get past the fact that they aren’t playing speed metal riffs and “machine gun drums”

Yo untouchables is one of the best metal albums ever made... youre leaving out so much creative qualities of it like the guitarist 7 string usage, the bassist slap, different instruments and the changing up of how the vocalist sounds. 2 albums down they get really experimental like you wouldn’t believe.
@saadesigner077 жыл бұрын
“Drop in production” they spent a ton of money making this album, and used state of the art recording equipment that nobody else was using at the time. The album isn’t great, but the comment about production is unwarranted. Let’s keep it goin!

Legit makes no sense how he said that. Their most expensive album and the 5th most expensive of all time and even when you listen to the album you can easily tell it has very high production quality especially compared to their next album take a look in the mirror

There is a difference. Don't get me wrong, I love this album when it came out when so many criticised it. Someone else said it right on here-this is a straight heavy metal album where their past work had a mix of funk and other genre's mixed in. Not speaking of production but styles of music. It is one of my favorites. Got me through a particularly tough time of life.

I agree with U.U.U **Patreon** The songs aren't great. This album was a DOWNGRADE from the earlier records that lacked motivation, funk, and had too many filler songs. Yes, production value is good but not enough to make up for lack of good songs.

This album costed millions of dollars to make, so it isn't exactly a drop in production. I can see why you don't like the album, even though it's my favorite. They have a couple of artsy albums, don't worry, but I must warn you, you haven't even touched Korns actual bad albums yet..
@perfectragedy65657 жыл бұрын
One thing to keep in mind: Most of Korn's early fans didn't grow up knowing the "boom-bap" rhythm in hip-hop, so what you now call bland was a new sound to them. The band's incorporation of hip-hop elements literally created a new genre. This was in 1994, btw. Linkin Park would not exist without the groundwork laid before them by Korn.
@Xeroforte7 жыл бұрын
Hey Seuss Did Untouchables not cost around $4 million to make? What are you going on about now?
@perfectragedy65657 жыл бұрын
Seuss: Do some research before trashing him. "The band has revealed that the total recording costs of Untouchables were estimated at $4,000,000 due to recording/living expenses and keeping their 15-person crew on retainer for the nearly two years it took to finish the album." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Untouchables_(album)
@Xeroforte7 жыл бұрын
Hey Seuss Do you not realize how uneducated you sound? Making albums can be very expensive, Tusk by Fleetwood Mac costed $1 million, Hysteria by Dec Leppard ended up costing $4.5 million to make. Look it up before commenting again because you look embarrassingly stupid right now.
@Xeroforte7 жыл бұрын

Hi haters and lovers of Korn. I'm a big fan of Korn and love Un(breakables)touchables. Not my favourite but one of the most. I've watched the ""marathon"" from 1st to 5th album and must say a thing as a Korn fan: He doesn't actually listen to the albums, he just swap songs like a free buffet. His love for groovy is a sing for his music taste (which I also like) but in my opinion: the more you listen the more you like about this band. I try to respect everything but for me this was a meaningless approach because he just cared about the groove.
