Good news is Jonathan said they are working on another album! i heard Requiem all the way through and had Worst on its way on repeat at least 100 times. I liked what I heard but when I went back and listened to the whole album again, the whole album grew even further. Now, My Confession and Let the Dark Do the Rest are my 2nd favorites! Give the album another listen and it grows on you even more!

I first hated it, and at 3rd listen I loved every track! I feel like dancing to the choruses, Jonathan leads this so well and the guitars are amazing! Like I dance to “penance to sorrow “ but yea “worst is on its way” is the best track I get goosebumps during the scat part!

So… fun facts about his album… So they made this album this short intentionally, because not a lot of people want to listen to whole albums that long anymore (unlike me, I’m an album person) This whole album was recorded on analogue tape, which is something they used to do in the older days. No click tracks, nothing. Gives it a more genuine Korn feel in my opinion. (Worst on its way could fit into Follow The Leader or Untouchables easily) Jonathan Davis had almost 100 vocal tracks on several tracks here. You can tell he has so much more experience. They had no label or time restrictions, so this album was made without pressure. The bonus track is great as well. I know you wish there were more than nine songs.. but they are already working on their next album, I would expect something next year!

Totally agree, I dont think it was just the analog that made the album so good, I do believe it helped though. I think korns old enough to know their formula You are right and I can't agree more, some of these tracks did sound like they could've easily fit on follow the leader issues or untouchables. From Jonathan's skatting to munky and heads back and forth guitar work, it sounds like they really had fun making this record, there are just so many korn hallmarks featured I love it.

Great song here. Korn is my favorite band and has been for probably 20 years. This album is ok. I give it 7/10. Honestly the last album "The Nothing" was one of their best albums of all time (top 3) so it was going to be hard to compete with that one. But hey they're in their 50's now so what can we really expect and they have so many songs that they are constantly having to change their sound. Definitely a better album than The Untitled and See you on the other Side 🤣
