"The chorus could be better". WTF?! It's the most hype chorus in the album.

I saw an interview with Mike and Emily from about a week ago. Mike started working with her in 2019 and at the time, it had nothing to do with Linkin Park. They worked on a track Mike had made and made another from scratch. Mike said as he was working with her, he saw little clues in the dynamic of how she may be a fit for Linkin Park. He then made a playlist of like 5 songs from her work in Dead Sara, and gave it to the band to see if they saw the same dynamic that he did. Things just evolved from there into what it is today.

I was there at Earl's Court for that show. Pink Floyd isn't a concert, it's an experience

This song's always touchin' something in my soul. Not sure why. Overall a great song tho. My personal favourite in this album, probably in my top 10 songs from LP, but I do agree with you when you say that this is not their best album.

This song just grows on you... I didn't like it very much the first time I heard and then suddenly it was on repeat in my Spotify. Definitely my favorite from the album

I think the new album is fire. theres a couple songs that im not super passionate about (cut the bridge, casualty,igyeih) but man the others hit so much harder than almost anything from the previous 2 albums (besides one more light and final masquerade those slap) overflow and good things go deserve the single treatment

Just found your reactions and watched all the LP ones. Nice to see an open minded fan. Honestly I’m surprised how much I like this new version of them, Emily is incredible. They’re not new or anything but would love to see you react to Fightstar, Enter Shikari or Alexisonfire. Just for my own selfish wants

I have no idea, but I think the thing in the video is some weird heart, which is perfect.

This song is stupid good. The lyrics are brilliant. The structure of the song is different and has quite a bit of nuance. The chorus changes each time in subtle but meaningful ways. I think the instrumentals and audio mixing is well done and really shows off the absolutely stunning vocals of Emily. I still don't think I have watched a reaction or analysis video yet where the nuance of Emily's tones and inflections are really appreciated. And maybe only person mentioned that last note she hits, though I did see you raise your eyebrows.

The album is really good. Kinda touches each era of their catalog with some twists and turns because of her unique abilities. It's also like 35 minutes long, you could do it all in a day and chop it up or as one. I don't know which would be best for you because you'll have a ton to say I'm sure. It's worth it. I say this as a casual LP listener. Always thought they were good but never went very deep. She does the older material her way, it took a show or two to get her footing since she was so nervous at first. Crowds are digging it. So am I.

Same feeling for me Dan, didn't feel like it was an LP song, but I got the same feeling in Overflow. As someone pointed out, these two songs were produced by someone else (don't recall the name), so it would make sense!

I think this album suits many different musical tastes, it's open to everyone who comes and listens. This song is FIRE, no cap! When I first listened to it, I couldn't think it'd be an LP song, I like the path they're taking
@garyrobinson86652 күн бұрын
I think they are having fun and have a new lease of life. Emily brings something new to the band. A different personality. I don't think it really matters which song they released first their comeback was always going to be massive. Mike is LP. He is the most important member. Always has been.

There is no one best album. I hate that people wanted LP to be pigeon holed as HT or Meteora only. I happen to really love this song and every song off One More Light. I really hated his close-minded critics who refused to see Pop as music. And Mikes latest solo album was so underrated.
