Elite:Dangerous. Vulture Thermal Vent Beam and Corrosive Shell Multi-Cannon combo

Very nice combination, with upgraded power plant and power coupling you can shoot beam laser for long time without over heating it (thermal vent) and kill enemy or modules hull very fast because of corrosive shell and overcharged multi-cannon.

+RaveAramashi depends, if you shoot until capacitor runs out you will over heat your ship, if you shoot only it down to 20-30% of it then not needed.

Hi! You are obviously a good pilot and maybe this make me feel like it is too easy to kill these ships... but still. Considering the fact you are really good in what you are doing here I still feel like killing these NPCs is just way way too easy with the mods. Too easy compared to an unmoded setup. Do you think it is OK for the gameplay? What is your oppinion?

+Viktor Kovács i probably need to try un-modded ship then and see, because i was concentrating only on maximum output but my guess is that in most cases it will only take slightly longer and wont be harder.

Sorry for the diferent languaga but... well it's my main language and it's easyer to say what i want..... Amm a videósnak szólt ha üzenetet kapna arról hogy hozzászólok amihez ő is.. Ne haragudj, hogy én is beleszólok, de az én véleményem szerint az Enginers meg ezek a modok? Nem tudom pontosan sajna nincs horizon-om. De lényeg, hogy erősen megdobják a "killing factor"-t..Természetesen én közel sem vagyok iylen jó pilóta a játékban de azért a saját tapasztalataim szerint ez brutáli teljesítmény.. Egy clipper powerplant-ját ennyi idő alatt egyetlen egy multicannonnal így kilőni nem semmi. Én a Vulture-omat úgy használom hogy nagyobb hajóknál megvárom még a security leszedi a shield-et (ha megtámadják egyáltalán) és utána 2 multicannon ami a csövön kifér.. De legtöbbször hamarabb elfogy az élete és a powerplant olyan 50% körül ha lehet.. És már csak a tény hogy a shield miylen gyorsan le ment.. Már az is elképesztő.. A plusz pedig hogy ugye nem süti szét a hajót a fegyver mert van rajta a thermal went csak hab a tortán.. PVP-ben ezek a modok véleményem szerint ellehetetlenítik az érvényesülést.. Viszont ha csak egyedül játszol PVE-n csak több időt és ügyességet igényel ami maximum kicsit zavaró lehet.. De az tény hogy ha megvannak ezek elég egyszerű a fejvadászkodás.

I hoping to get a Vulture on Saturday (next time I get on) I'm bounty hunting in rings in a Viper MkIV. I've got 2 million credits and am hoping to get another to an Saturday. So I looked up good load outs and you have been really useful. But which is better out of the lasers , beam, pulse or burst? Then which is better: 1 multi cannon and 1 laser; 2 lasers or 2 multi cannons. Thanks.

And fixed beam is the best because you can stay close and it deals more damage than gimballed.

Hi Korneluis. I'm trying to figure out what special effects I should go for on my FDL - i'm ready to overcharge all 5 multicannons (Grade 5), and i'd like my FDL to be good for BOTH PVE and PVP. I don't mind reloading at a station (MCs) but i'm struggling to decide if having a Thermal Vent weapon will help to counter Thermal Shock effects. So far I have this: 1 x huge HP: MC with Incendiary Rounds 2 x medium HP: MC with Thermal Shock 1 x medium HP: MC with Corrosive Shell 1 x medium HP: MC with Thermal Vent

multis have thermal vent? i only seen them on beams, i would not bother with multis and thermal vent, best for damage is overcharged and at least one corrosive+huge incendiary makes sense but same time it's slowest one, there are no universal loadouts anyway ;)

I figure I can use gimballed mcs, and slap a few heat sinks in too. I'm not going to win every fight but I'll win more than I'll lose (hopefully).

How about killing small ships like an eagle or cobra? Killing large ships with this setup is easy.

You adjust your setups against your enemies, of course there are weapons that work better against smaller and more agile ships and weapons that are heavy but slow hitters, it all comes don to your skill - I've seen players annihilate small ships with plasma and players that can only hit such ships with gimbal weapons. So it is up to you to choose weapons for killing eagles and vipers.

However, it should also be mentioned that if you use an Anaconda and squeeze the best jump range out of that sucker, you can utilize perhaps one of the most overseen aspect of the game, and "recharge" your fsd using surface materials (on your right screen, under.. Materials? I forget- forgive me, it's been a month and a half since I played), and double that. So.. Potentially over a 100 light year jump. Now this may not seem as worth as much since, sure it's only 6 materials, some of which being very rare, but you could become one of the only pilots in the game to travel to stars that other players cannot travel to. For example, I don't know the range between its closest star, but the Cat Eye Nebula might be one such place... ¡ )

actually yes because the top upgrade (grade 5) for range is +50% and you can get bonuses that add even more % and then you can mod other modules to be light weight versions increasing range even further.

there is a key in options that you can bind and use to cycle through subsystems, power plant is like 5th from the end almost always so i use target previous subsystem key to get there quicker, but you can always use left UI

i would say no, but then again if fun is over the top then it was good idea, i would do some smuggling in asp, for like 4-5 hours and get fully kitted vulture and still have enough money not to worry about insurance price.

i realy want now the Horizon. Q_Q i only have a Vulture litherly the day i bought the base game.. Couse after i bought the game i just found a video "Sidewinder to Anaconda in 24 hour" i instantly upgraded myself from sidewinder to vultire but now i'm stuck with it couse alone i can't take out effectively big ships and the security system is sometimes lazy or just don't spawn.. But also.. it would be much more fun to have horizon not just because of the weapon upgrades but.. Everything.. Landing on planets.. creating a commander and well i don't have friend to do multi crew but.. xD Thats other problems.
